Do any of you guys have experience playing on a Casio Privia PX-S1000? How's the action?
I've read that they recently changed the action from what was used in previous models in the Privia line, such as the PX-160, which is the model I had originally been looking at before I came across the PX-S1000.
Should I stick with the PX-160? Maybe look at something else? I'm primarily looking at this to be used as a controller for piano sample libraries and I'm trying to keep this under about $700.

I have an older Casio Privia and the action is absolutely great. Best action I could find on a keyboard under $700, paid $90 used. I only use it for practicing as the built in sound sucks but it could be used as a controller.
I can’t speak to the new ones but I’d save my money and buy an older one

The PX-160 is on sale right now for $399. I need to read up more and see how the midi implementation and control compares on the older Privias versus this new one.
