RGOs.
I am referring to my last topic on
simplifying the workflow making the whole process, from the song idea up to the mixed / arrangend song, more intuitive.
It did not take long and I came across the Slate Raven MTI2 touch screen controller.
I watched every video that made sense to learn what the controller can and can't do.
Most impressive is the batch processing and its ease to program processes.
Easy tasks like changing windows to more complicated tasks like setting up the same channel strip configuration multiple times.
Or batch processing and bouncing files ready for mixing.
Zooming in and out something I hate with the mouse seems to be intuitive too.
Most impressive was that the plug in knobs work on very small moves too.
It was interesting that users said that they are actually not touching real knobs, but they still experience some sort of tactile response.
Now I ask myself if we have RGO members which use the Slate MTI2 controller?
If yes, here are some of my questions:
1.
How long did take you to learn the MTI2.
2.
Is it making your process easier, or do you find yourself often using the mouse and the keyboard-shortcuts - because you are so used to it?
3.
Do you think I can customize the MTI2 in that way that it is Simple and Stupid for my ADD brain.
4.
How well is it running with Logic X?
Cheers AO
