I've decided to put together a pair of CAPI channel strips in a 6 space lunchbox. So far, I've got a pair of VP28s. I'll need to choose a pair of EQs and and build a pair of FC526 compressors. I'll primarily be using this rig for tracking guitar, bass and vocals, but it'd be nice to use it on busses at line level on occasion. Which CAPI EQ would you guys recommend for this rig?

Lc25's if you want to be able to mold and sculpt- bt50's for broadstrokes. Both are stellar.

I doubt you could really go wrong. LC25 is a really nice EQ. Fun build too. I've only really used mine on bass so far because it provided such instant gratification on that particular source. I own a pair of 553's too. Less versatile, but they sound nice. The mid band is neat on guitars. The HF is perfect for un-darkening darker mics. I never thought I'd ever be so enthused about HPF's, but here I am loving those too.
Currently debating if I want to get a pair of the BT50's for my next project, or more LC's. Tough call.

I do session bass guitar tracking the most. So I’m leaning towards the lc25s to start. Then maybe build the BT50’s at some point later. Great feedback everybody!
