It’s interesting to hear George Massenburg’s thoughts about the compressor detection circuit. There’s definitely something that gets lost in translation when an analog piece is modeled in the plug in domain. I hope they keep pushing forward & figure it out one day. Can you imagine how cool it would be to load up nearly endless plug in options that actually sounded as good as analog? It would be crazy.

To be fair some plug ins work very nice.
I ask myself why they dont oversample the detoctor circuit, if the speculation can be true.
Switching the Slate plug ins between oversampling on and off - I can hear a diffrence.
I am sure it can be done. If they want to milk the cow it needs to stay alive for a while.
