The last I heard from Stam on the ADG was back on September 20th. This is the contents of the email:
Dear Client, You are in the first 150 SA76ADG. Shipping Timeline (When does it start shipping?) SA-76ADG - October (First 150), December (rest) If your product is "In Stock", we will send you the final invoice and a tracking number asap. Thank you for your patience. -- Best regards, Miguel

The UA sale includes additional free plug ins and at the top end the 10 plug in deal they have dropped the price and added in 3 free plug ins so 13 of your choice for under a grand. What's up with the 3 free? Do you get to choose those too or are they UA selected? You choose all 13.

GEEZ, we're a catty bunch! A lot of the responses here go beyond simple chiding and poking, prodding, prompting and really should be handled directly through direct messages, or emails. I share some of the frustrations, but found direct communication works well and Joshua stam communicates well when you treat him like one of us!! Can I get an amen, Johnkenn ? I think the transparency we have here is a good thing. Without it, some who might not be willing to put up with the Stam process might not know enough to make an informed decision to avoid it.

4) False promises? which one? Your initial delivery dates pretty much always turn out to be false ...and not just by a month or two. So false statements are certainly an issue of contention and are likely responsible for the majority of your customer complaints. It's easily rectifiable but you're clearly unwilling to do so.

We've had updates in the past but they don't pan out in the end. I know you’re a frequent critic of Stam, and to each his own. But that’s a little bit of a mischaracterization. It’s not like Stam is not delivering, it’s just he’s not hitting self-imposes deadlines. People ARE getting gear. Though Ragan’s story has me giving stam the stink eye. I wish Joshua would get that straightened out. I was implying that the the "self-imposes deadlines" weren't panning out. I've never said he was out to scam anyone. in fact, I recently got into it with someone here who did imply that there was possibly a scam going on. You'll know I've changed my mind on that if I ever start referring to him as "Josh Madoff."

Has any body seen any update and or re-statement of whether the original 150 ADG are shipping in November ? No sir. It was stated elsewhere on the interwebs that info would be emailed 2 wks ago, then posted it will be delayed another wk and now were almost halfway into another week with no updates. Maybe the emails are stuck in customs.

I re-mic just about every virtual instrument track with Ocean Way Studios. I'd love to see an expanded version of that plugin come out. Without the extra cost! Honestly, I'd pay for it if they created it.

It's essentially how things were done 60+ years ago. Everyone was set up in the studio and the engineer used distance and axis positioning to set levels. It looks like hard work to me because you're committing to so much right off the bat. You learn a lot about mics and their real polar patterns when you go minimalist stereo. In my case, it would expose how little I know.

I think the last time I stepped foot in a Walmart was in the 1980s. I feel cleaner for the disassociation. That’s how I fell any time I walk into Guitar Center🤔 Now I have to tell my Guitar Center story. About 15 years back I was in the market for another acoustic guitar. I hit up all the local shops but nothing I played got me very excited until I went to the local GC and played a Larrivee they had hanging on the wall in the high end room. The tone was wonderful and the playability was excellent. I didn't want to make a hasty decision so I decided to come back in a couple of days and if I still loved it, I'd buy it. I went back and after playing it again I decided to buy it. It was busy on the showroom and I had to wait quite a while for a salesman to show up but I was keeping myself entertained with the guitar. My fingers got tired after a bit and I stopped playing. My hand slid across the top below the bridge and I could feel the center seam in the top. That's not good. Closer inspection revealed that the top was separating. It wasn't something that you could easily see with your eyes but the problem was definitely there. I was bummed because there was no way I was buying this guitar now. I continued to wait for a salesman to come in because I wanted to alert him to the problem. Unless you ran your hand over the seam, it was very easy to miss and I didn't want someone to get stuck buying a guitar that needed a big repair right off the bat. A salesman finally shows up and I point out the issue. He tells me the guitar would be removed from the floor. A couple of weeks later I decide to go back to that GC and see if they have any new acoustics since my last vist. I go into the high end room and there's that Larrivee still hanging there with the full price tag on it. I figured the salesperson I told forgot to deal with it, so I point out the separated seam to another salesperson and he assures me that guitar will be taken off the floor. I go back two weeks later again and there it is... still hanging there and still at full price. That's when I realized they just don't care if they stick a customer with a problem. Some poor schmuck was going to buy that guitar and before they owned it for a week it was going to need to into the shop to get the top reglued. I have no use for a company that would do that to a customer.

I still don't see the point of your post. At this point there's no issue of people being refused refunds if they've requested it. You're the guy who said, "...I have had immediate needs big time and needed stuff like yesterday," and then two seconds later ordered something from Stam. Now less than a week later you're speculating about this being the "oldest scam in the book." Your thought process seems a tad inconsistent. You are taking me out of context, leaving out my reply in the other thread and I kindly asked not to shoot the messenger. I am only trying to protect people like yourself but you are so right about one thing and that is people are *not* being refused refunds yet, and I hope all will see their product before their dead. There's no "context" issue with how I quoted you. You said one thing and then did something antithetical to what you said. You also made two strange posts complaining that people weren't responding to you fast enough, now you're complaining that you got a response. If "the messenger" doesn't want to be shot, he shouldn't step into the street waving his guns around. We all know there are issues with Stam. There are many threads where the real problems have been discussed and I've been as critical as anyone. We don't need to add imaginary problems to the list. If we ever get to the point where Josh packs his bags and keeps our deposits, I'm sure we'll all be asking for your advice. Until then, the problems that actually exist are fodder enough for conversation and complaints.

Surprised when Walmart just came up in search for 500 series eq’s. I’m vowing right now to never buy anything from Walmart, no matter the cost. What are you telling people to check? If we pay via Paypal, we all have the same protections. It doesn't differ from person to person. Guys and Gals, don't shoot the messenger (me) but there are many caveats to online purchases that you might want to check in on like... did you pay with PayPal and or a credit card or directly through PayPal, etc.? It can get convoluted with each and every transactional detail. For example,..... "PayPal: You paid for the item with one payment (items purchased with multiple payments are not eligible for Buyer Protection)." Again maybe, maybe not and it depends.
