Reviving this thread for those who are still interested in the Sie-Q. Eric Valentine did a nice shoot-out video comparing the Soundtoys plugin to the original:
Interesting...
I love this plugin. Maybe sometime soon there'll be a plugin to eliminate the last small difference between hardware and plugin for Soundtoys' Sie-Q. I'm not gonna own this hardware, but I love what it does. Kudos for Eric Valentine's keen ear for midrange and treble.

Sounds pretty good We demand more!!! It sounds good. 0.4% THD at +17 dBu, solid class A. Lots of mojo. But right now I need to get the heatsink situation squared away, do some thorough testing, and design a faceplate. But it sounds thickkkkkk.

I had to set it aside a bit to work on some orders. I’ll probably have one ready to go as a demo unit in a few weeks.

Pretty sure I’ve got the heat issue sorted. Doing a stress test on it now. Then I need to drill a face plate. Who wants to demo it?

It’s still rarely heating up rapidly when I turn it on. But then other times, it is stable for hours and hours with no heat sinks. I haven’t had a chance to completely replicate the weird fault. Annoying.

Annoying. Huh that is odd. Sounds to me like maybe a compromised solder joint somewhere possibly?? Screwed with it all afternoon. Couldn’t get the fault to consistently repeat. When it does at 2 mins 35 seconds of being on it starts intermittently losing the -V rail. Other times it’s fine for a long time. I can’t get it figured out. I think I’m going to ditch this pcb and see if moving to a fresh build fixes it. Extremely frustrating.

It was a bad power supply. Not related to the card at all. :/
