I don't think anyone here is saying 3 micron is unreliable, just thinner films. The chinese have been using 3 micron film for a long time with success though not in capsules anyone lusts over.

How about capsule "tension shift" over time? Like when you compare capsules 10+ years old, versus a brand new capsule? Thanks, Chris

Thanks, Chris Chris, If the diaphragm was stabilized correctly then it should last. The process of stabilization however, takes longer with 3ยต, as it should go through more thermal cycles. Best, M
