Here’s what I find - when I get out of the “ground floor needs” I tend to find plugs work for me. But I know a LOT of people that say they hear things I don’t hear.

I shouldn’t say this, because I have a pro audio forum that is based on people loving gear. But - oh yeah - I spend more than I make from this board, so, I should be straight up. Lol I’ve found that either I don’t have the best ears - which I’m sure is the case or I’m just cheap...I often find that I’d do better with a small set of gear. If I have redundant hardware, it bothers the shit out of me. I hear the nuances in different compression - I’m just not sure it really matters all that much. But Do I want one of these? Absolutely Part of that is the fact that first and foremost you are a musician and songwriter not an AE. The other thing is the simple fact that a small kit makes you work it more rather than simply switch out the mic. Last is the fact that unlike most your really trying to nail this sound in your head my friend.

Here we go...... Just for you noobs, this is S-T-A-M were talking about. You wont get confirmation, you won't get it the date he promised, and you will probably considering cancelling the whole damn thing at least twice during your waiting. If you email him, 'hey I got a super important client coming in in 2 weeks and would love to use BLANK during the session, please ship ASAP..... he wont respond to that either. This isn't coming from Sweetwater in a box in 2 days with candy. You'll be lucky if you see this thing this year. Welcome to the party

But ....He always refunds. He always repairs if problems, and he is passionate about getting his clones as close as humanly possible without cutting corners.
I recommend don't buy stuff that you NEED immediately and can't function without as a studio.... or else you may get a little frustrated. It will come and eventually youll be happy.

I can't think anybody here didn't understand what they were getting into. Personally, I have had emails responded to reasonably well and understood from the beginning there would likely be delays. That didn't bug me too much until I saw peeps on FB who had ordered after us were getting other gear before us (adg's) : that grates.
Anyway, peeps should start getting ADG's in February and or they will be shipping , but how many ? The first 30 ? It's no fun waiting all this time, but I am still looking forward to actually getting the adg's and trying them out.

I do not need his gears here and now for the business to roll on (then I would not have ordered). But I am a simple man and do not require much and have a great deal of patience. But getting a note on my mail that they have received my money in advance is a simple action. Having said that, I do not want to do anything negative about my question. Just be curious if I was forgotten, but that does not seem to be the case. For the rest, I look forward to testing all Stam gears in the studio

Guys, 30 spots left Thanks for your trust Unlike previous releases we will ship 10 ahead of time to some clients for reviews Josh Hopefully I'm one of the first 10. I ordered one of these immediately when it was posted on Facebook a year ago. They were slated to ship in May of 2019 at the time. At the time, I also had a Stamchild on order. I was told that was shipping shipping in March, April, May, and June. Finally, in July, I decided to cancel my orders. Too many broken promises pushed me over the edge. Anyway, I saw this posted on Facebook this morning. Apparently, still not shipping and not looking like the mockup. Here's the original mockup for reference...

Thanks for going out of your way three times today to create negativity where there is none. I was merely posting pics of my work and prototyping. You are correct that I am still finishing the last details on these units and I have not began shipments. Not that you would know anything about this complex design but I had to figure a way to to make the task manageable of matching so many components for production therefor I am uploading pics of the progress for my customers (not you). To lie publicly and say that the picture is a render and to come post lies that my website is full of renders when I have the actual Faceplate here with the blue knobs is just being you know what. When I ship the first 10 next month they will look EXACTLY as the one on the website as they have ALWAYS done in 8 years. Luckily we don't have to deal with each other so I am ignoring you on here and you are not welcome on my FB anymore. Feel free to carry on with your negativity, luckily I won't have to see it. Have a good weekend guys and I am sorry for the rant but I can't stand lies. We all know I am behind schedule and that I have trouble meeting deadlines and have a bad track record when it comes to it but I would never post a render (I don't know even how to make one).

SA-69 ? You mean the Helios or 33609?
If you a re reluctant then don't. I would suggest you wait until they are in stock later this year
I would have thought you would trust me given our track record and the units I have sent you

So this picture above is an actual photo of a working unit and not a graphic rendering? When I asked what software you use, I was genuinely curious, because I've worked on some design ideas and it's a pain to cut and paste stuff in photoshop. What lies am I spreading? ...I'm the cunt though...
