Should ship in a couple weeks! Do you say that based on something you've heard from Stam recently? Last thing I'd seen is they were going to ship in October. Before that it was this last summer, etc. I mean, I'm no stranger to how Stam orders go, I'm just wondering if anyone's seen specific, recent claims as far as when the SA-23A(+) will start shipping.

I was mostly joking. No I did not hear anything specific. However I've come to the conclusion that will be my response for any Stam product....'should ship in a few weeks!' I mean hey it's just as valid as any other guess out there, right? We love you Josh.... keep up the good work and I hope everyone is safe.

The website says April for the SA23+. Whether it's sooner or later, I'm looking forward to this one

The website says April for the SA23+. Whether it's sooner or later, I'm looking forward to this one It’s been the usual rolling Shipping In A Couple Months for like a year. I was supposedly first in line and I’ll be surprised if I see it in 2020. I just hope I do one day see it. Was just wondering if anyone has seen anything specific besides the rolling “shipping soon!” thing.

Drop in the appropriate noun! Proving that even Orsen Wells could be a sellout.
Very disappointing.....

I meant my post humorously, and peeps may disagree but my sense is that while there has been improvement in productivity, there will still be long waits and frankly I think most of us expected that?
Eventually, though, in its time, gear is produced and shipped.

Also, in case peeps don’t know, Josh has been in a significant custody negotiation . It seems he had moved to Spain where his sons are but yesterday on FB he posted about returning to Chile, sort of starting over: not certain if that was good news re: his sons.
But, hopefully, he can get more grounded and refocused in a good way.

Hello Gents:
I don't intend to bore you so I will keep try to keep it simple
The good: We have come a long way from last year and managed to pump out more units in the last 6 months than in the previous 12 months. Most of the items we had announced are now on the hands of our customers and we have a fully dedicated customer service team which has virtually eradicated the complaints about non answered emails and keeping customers in the dark. We have managed to finally have some units in stock (SA-87, SA-800). I have also made a new 1073EQ MK2 which I believe will make you very very happy. To be announced shortly. All MK1 orders who have been waiting will be automatically upgraded and no extra cost. The 500 series line is ready as well with many cool things.
The bad: We still have a very large list of back-orders to fulfill on all units and it will be a good six months (or more) if we are lucky before we can deliver all Stamchild's, 609 and SA23A+. The ADG resumes shipments this month. All our efforts are in building as many as we can respecting a strict protocol to avoid any issues with is a challenge when shipping such complex machines.
The ugly: Yes, it is true I have been on a endless legal battle to gain access to my children which was my priority during last year as it would be for any father. We also had 3 tragedies in the family the pat 12 months and a revolution in our country in between with a very unstable political situation.
With the court out of the way and having been granted access to my boys I am now back in Chile to fully focus on Stam and make this right once and for all to many of you.
I must admit it has fired a sparkle in me again and I will be listening to all the old designs to see where I can make a difference and take it to the next level.
The ultimate goal is to provide the best sounding machine that you can buy but this time in a timely and more efficient manner.
I thank you all for your positive vibes and friendship during what was a very hard time for us as a family and company.
I'm always available for answering any questions
Josh

Be well Josh, family first. Pictures of you and your boys make it obvious how much they love you. No one promised, being a Dad would be easy, but find strength in doing the right thing.
I think if you keep updating production issues regularly, this will help people to believe in your communications and best manage expectations.

I have had a couple of years of family trauma and I know how heavy it weighs you down. It’s good to hear things are moving in the right direction. Onward to bigger and better things. Thanks Josh for the updates.
