I'm liking what I'm seeing, but as far as a product launch goes, I'm really surprised that a new mic company on the market wouldn't come out swinging with tens of audio samples.
The slick YouTube stuff isn't going to tell you what the mic sounds like raw. I don't own any version of 47 Fet and I'd be interested to hear more of this one.

We do plan on posting some additional raw audio files (in addition to the acoustic clip posted above). Should be up in the next 24 hours.

Heiserman did you develop a new capsule for this one, or are you using your HK47 ?

Heiserman did you develop a new capsule for this one, or are you using your HK47 ? It uses a new version of the HK47 -- we've made some modifications that slightly reduce the high frequencies compared to the old version. The result is a balanced and smooth response with just enough upper mids/highs to help things sit nicely without a lot of effort or EQ. We've also changed the design and construction of the capsule to ensure consistency in production, and ease of matching. We're still using same 6 micron Dupont mylar.

Here's a couple videos demonstrating the H47 on Rock and Pop vocals. It sounds much like a U47FET on rock vocals, and works there. But even though it's the same singer and not much change in tone, I hear the same things as I would with a U47FET for a vocal for a pop song, which would end up with my saying "Next please". Pop vocals (even whan it's a rock singer signing pop) need a glassy sheen and immediacy. JMHO YMMV TETO

I guess we could call it the HK47 MkII or something to differentiate, but there's no difference to the naked eyed. Gotta get out the 10x magnifying lens to spot the changes

JMHO YMMV TETO Thanks for checking out the videos -- I'll concede that there are likely better mics for pop vocals, but I will say, on these videos, we purposely didn't go over the top with the vocal production in order to keep things sounding realistic. So we could certainly have upped the 'sheen' factor to better suit a pop production. I also think that even on pop vocals, this mic would be a huge step up compared to what's in a lot of people mic lockers, and likely an improvement over many mics in this price range. Side note, we also have a solution for when you require a mic with a 'glass sheen and immediacy' More details about that soon, and of course it won't be in the same price range as the H47.

Not to ignore the rest of your poignant and considered post, but that last bit is fantastic news!! I'd like to hear a kit of drums recorded with H47FETs please. Well, just the toms and kick. If you could possibly do that. Just the close mics.

We'll have some female vocals soon too....

Midmitch, I wouldn't mind hearing it on electric bass.

Midmitch, I wouldn't mind hearing it on electric bass. I think we can make that happen.

Both the video's vocalist, and your microphone sound great!
Huge fan of the "47 FET" style sound here... Chris

So can this one be considered a true K47 sonic clone ? Compared to the vintage k47 that we've had access to, the HK47 is extremely close, and easily within 2 db across the frequency range, and usually much closer to 1 db or less. Neumann's spec for their own capsules is +/- 2db, so we think it's about as close of a sonic clone as you could get. I'll be posting some sound samples soon, and you guys can compare for yourself.

I’m very interested to hear more about the HK47 Tube and as I noted on the YouTube video, I would love to make a demo of it for my channel.

Here's a comparison of the H47 and a vintage u47fet. The audio bounces back and forth between the two mics. I made the cuts arbitrarily so as not to favor one over the other. There's no processing whatsoever on these files, other than to match the volume. The vintage mic is on the top and the Heiserman is on the bottom. Below I'm also including links to the raw wav files on dropbox. Dropbox Files: Heiserman H47 - Voiceover
Vintage u47 FetWe'll be posting a lot more audio clips in the coming days....

Very close, but I've never found spoken word to be a great indicator. Looking forward to hearing some more clips, particularly instruments like acoustic guitar. That I imagine would be more revealing. I do like what I'm hearing so far though.... and orange.... I like burnt orange. lol.

I'll say this, if I was in the market for a 47FET, I doubt I'd go with a Neumann after hearing this. It sounds just as good, and is way more affordable.
