Well, some people think everyone esp. admins HAVE to do what they want them to do. Some people even come up with things like "I want to XXX XXX off your place. Please delete all my 68775 posts, they are my copyright and i want them off." Good to have a paragraph in the forum rules that nobody has the right to force admin actions of any kind contentwise or with any timeline. And that real legal issues will be resolved as soon as possible to the non fulltime admins. Sorry if it is not hitting the point in legal english terms, i am not a native speaker, hope you got the point....
Well, this forum not beeing honest? Because we like dialogue with gear designers and didn't like rude behaviour? And our admin is not a wizard? Lame.
Thanks John, for your good communication of things that happen around here. Makes me be more grateful for the job you do with this board. Admin can be a tough job sometimes, i know that from own experience.......
Best regards, Martin

Man oh man, there's a lot of bad words in this thread! A certain software engineer is going to be mighty upset by all this.
And if you lot keep this up, you can count on not being voted "forum of the year" by the CCMA. There goes the Dove award!!

If you're going to be an asshole, you can expect me to let everyone know. Is it ok for someone to send me a expletive laden email?
His name was right there in his email address in his profile for everyone to see.

Even though he doesn't deserve it - after sending me an email like that - I have removed his name.

His name was right there in his email address in his profile for everyone to see. I think trolls/assholes should be called out in full view of the user community. IMHO, much of this misbehavior results from the sense of anonymity felt by such people who use forums like this - and also email - to bully others. By exposing them, they are identified for what they are: assholes, and unworthy of membership in a community that is founded on civil discourse like RGO. For me the key is civil behavior. Act like a normal, considerate human, and all rights are bestowed. Act like an asshole, and these same rights are revoked. Sadly, moderators are a necessary thing for just this reason. As JK has shared with us, it can be a thankless task.

BTW - this board is going to be transparent. I'm going to tell the truth and I expect everyone here to do the same. If you want to act like an asshole, expect to be called out. Besides one other guy that was a total drive-by slander-job, Pace is the only guy I've ever banned - and I thought you guys would like to know why.

I'd settle for a Sta-level. Or even a toaster! Cheers, Geoff
