PP receipts are in PP so that is documented and sets payment amount and dates. Obviously, super helpful dude. I'm just saying that losing all those email chains that provided context has got to complicate and already complicated situation. I've used PayPal to track my purchases and sales, and it kinda sucks. For example, people sometimes just PayPal Josh a deposit, or an installment payment, or a NOS upgrade payment. If you didn't put any notes in the notes field, how is he supposed to know what that payment was for?

I'm not an IT guy either, but I've upgraded my computer hard drives enough times over the years that I know to make a complete backup before doing anything.

I just meant that we can access our PP documentation , copy it into a new email , send 1 email to Josh with the context and specifics: done.
all the historical back and forth doesn't really help matters much anyway ?

Just to clarify
We have all the PayPal receipts, payments and clients list backed up. We didn't actually lose the emails, what happened is that all of them became unread when migrating to the new server so we had a hard time knowing which ones we still had to answer and which ones were already taken care off. We are taking about tens of thousands of emails. We are cross checking all emails with our database and hopefully we will have everything sorted by the end of this week but it's been quite a nightmare.
With regards to the ADG, some might ship this month, I am hoping to have time in 2 weeks to start. We will update the thread as usual when I have news
Thanks

You forget that he can only ship out like 20-30 units of *anything* per day, if I remember correctly. Even if all the ADGs were completed in December (very doubtful), and even if he only shipped ADGs every day (also doubtful, as other products need to be shipped as well), he still wouldn't have enough time to ship them all out before the end of the year.

Also, just a quick note, since you're here on the forum at the moment, I emailed with you last week about a refund on my 1073MPA preorder. Should I email you again about that since the server got messed up?

Not for me but I will admit to just being disappointed but will just need to move on as I won't invest in any of the negativity. I am in the first batch, ordered 2 back in April or what ever. I would very much like to have them, think they will be great but I am just tired of the uncertainty. But, I do believe Joshua will start shipping this month !

My humble and friendly advice to those who want to cancel: Don't
I don't say this with any financial interest, the same spot you leave now for 490 USD somebody else will take and pay 790 USD for so in practical terms I make more if somebody cancels than if they don't. I actually do not make any money at 490.00, which is the price the first 150 got.
I understand the wait has been long and it can be frustrating but you are getting a unique piece of gear, not only the most accurate replica of a UREI 1176 compressor but three of them in one unit, this is insane value for money, even if it was 1.500 USD it would still be cheap.
Again, this is a friendly advice, you are free to cancel and we will remain in good terms, I just think it would be a waste, particularly since we are almost there.
Josh

Well said Joshua and that is certainly the point: a particularly special piece of gear at a particularly great price. I guess great gear is like virtue: a patience !
