I am sitting on 150 SA76 ADG chassis, pcb and transformers
As soon as I am done shipping the last 1073's, 47's and 3A which people have been waiting for a long time I will start mounting these and sending them out
Realistically in 4 weeks I can begin. At least the first couple of units so you can get some nice reviews out there.
After this I have quite a few hundred Pultecs and 1073EQ to get out as well as the Stam Child. I might work on all projects at the same time with the team.
We got a lot of new products which we have not announced (they are really exciting and fresh) so that people don't kill me on forums and feel I am not working on what is already been reserved or paid for, even though it doesn't affect production in anyway.
Thanks for the patience guys J

Wiz, where have you been and thanks for your lovely post. Hey hiothanks bud Just working away on the next record.... and I have fallen in love with Texas No Limit Holdem .... 8) and have been playing a bit of that... Nice to do something that isn't music, and is sociable...and no one gives a rats ass that I am a musician... LOL... I have only been playing for 4 months, I might have a knack for it..... Its only small tournament games , no more than usually 20 dollar buy in.. so I am not going to lose my shirt... I did win 580 bucks in one week though!!!! thats what paid for the Console 1 I just bought to try out. I am playing with real people, not online. cheers Wiz

referring to the adg's " realistically in 4 weeks I can begin. At least the first couple of units so you can get some nice reviews out there".
so that means they ship in January, I guess at the earliest , so we see them in February ??

I exchanged an email with Josh today regarding my SA3A pair, and it seems thanks to this post and this email, the wait won't be very long now !

Thanks for the patience guys J Dude, great post. I am a fan of your work. I have an SA2A MKII, and currently have the Stamchild, a pair of upgraded Pultecs, an ADG, a 1073EQ and an SA4000 MKII on preorder. Iâm not sweating the delays. I agree with Wizâs previous post. I, too, have made the additional second payment on the Stamchild, along with all the other preorder payments. I have a lot of money tied up in delayed products. But again, nothing but patience here. Youâve always answered my emails. Keep up the good work, my man. Oh, and if you want to offer me a discount on the Stamchild as well, I wouldnât say no. Ha! Thanks again for the post, Joshua.

Thanks for the patience guys J That is encouraging news. I think THESE sort of "update" posts would go a long way towards relaxing people's concerns versus the nebulous posts on FB where delivery dates keep getting pushed back with no additional information explaining why or where things currently stand. I think it's the whole "my money went into a black hole" sort of thing that tends to put people on edge. I would definitely encourage these sort of posts going forward.

GEEZ, we're a catty bunch! A lot of the responses here go beyond simple chiding and poking, prodding, prompting and really should be handled directly through direct messages, or emails. I share some of the frustrations, but found direct communication works well and Joshua stam communicates well when you treat him like one of us!! Can I get an amen, Johnkenn ? Man you never had to deal with somebody calling you twice a week for 2 years wondering when the 8 bus was going to be available, no less when you would have one on demo! Honestly these threads have been tame of course I was in the running for top salesperson at one of the worlds largest pro audio dealers for a number of months while in a come and strictly on back orders.đ Can you imagine not hitting your quota and walking to the bosses office and hearing â I donât want to hear your shit a guy in a coma is kicking your assesâ I almost would have liked being in that sales meetingđ

I think this is a fairly big concern with PayPal and this preorder process/major delays...

As a Gear pimp oh hell has a customer you have learned how you say it is as important as what you say. I have always said there are a numbers of well regarded companies in this business that would never have survived if the people behind these companies had to deal directly with customers. Honestly I pray Josh doesnât introduce any new products for awhile, he needs to build his company first so he can build product and not have to deal with this shit! This is why CEOâs of major companies make the mega bucks, they have to make these discussions only on a larger scale and deal with stockholders! Screw up and your fired. Josh needs to make everything more efficient so heâs not putting out all these fires, sometimes that means contracting, pulling back and getting a handle on things so you can grow effectively.

The delay and PayPal limitation is significant as if stuff never shows up for what ever reason, you have paid the PayPal fee but have no recourse in terms of launching a dispute and getting 100% of your money back.
I appreciate the update here but ironically it indicates that some people are getting updates apparently directly for and others aren't ? I am in the first batch of adg's and haven't heard anything for 2-3 months I think. Anyway, I emailed them yesterday so am curios to see what happens.

Hahahaaa!! parts is parts.... I gotta say, even with all the trepidation, this is by far the most generous Stam thread on the internet. Most are going postal.

Already did a very quick (with two kids in tow) comparison to the Great River. The Stam is darker and more colored, but very nice sounding. Lots more tests and thoughts to come once this quarter is over (and I'll post them in the 1073 thread, just updating this one since my shipping saga was kind of aired out here).
