Uh oh, it's gone to the Senate, and merged with the CLASSICS act which appears to be another copyright term extension like the Bono act.

"The AMP Act (Allocation for Music Producers Act) for the first time adds producers and engineers, who play an indispensable role in the creation of sound recordings, to U.S. copyright law. The bill codifies into law the producer’s right to collect digital royalties and provides a consistent, permanent process for studio professionals to receive royalties for their contributions to the creation of music. ." that's pretty cool

The Bono act matched U.S.copyright terms with most of the rest of the world so that copyright could finally be enforced on the internet.
Why should the U.S. have the weakest property rights in the world? Don't believe the SillyConMan Vallee banksters' propaganda.

What a silly question - so the big corporations can make even more money by not paying us, of course! Ask any politician - if you can get him to tell the truth.

It really is frightening how much of a stranglehold google and Facebook have on information in the US and the world. Surely, this is what the antitrust laws were designed for.
