I know you tried the EQ...Cool album cover Hey JohnkennI did own the EQ, I never got on with it, it did this HIGH END sizzle thing that just .. .blech!!!! 8) I was referring to the video, the sound in that really didn't do it for me.. might be the sources, the use.. dunno.. you know how these things are.. you really have to use em to find out if you like them. Be really interested as to what you think if you demo one... when I read you comment, that you wondered if you could replace your STA with one, I went and listened to the demo... As you know, I have two DRIP STA levels... I can't imagine tracking a vocal without one ..... 8) Its like riding on a fluffy soft but supportive mattress.... 8) Thanks for the kudos on the album cover... cheers Wiz

I really want these to be good. It's either gonna be a pair of these or a pair of 55f54's. I'd save a grand and 4 500 series slots if these killed the 55f54's. I need to get them in my room, but idk how I'm gonna make that happen. I want to ditch my 2264lb's so bad.

Careful, while Rupert and Company have embraced some of the concept's that made him a legend, they have very, very much cleaned up the sound removing most of that sweet euphoric euphonic sound we all are still chasing. If it's that sound you want prepare for disappointment!

I almost had a really good deal worked out for a pair, but something came up where I couldn't spend the money at the time.
