OK. Black on dark blue is not optimal, so here the text from the embedded facebook post i just wrote.
You might know, that i am not happy at all about how digital rights management works (or doesn't) in times of global digital distribution. And i do not have a good solution for this, but read at least *some* good approaches, astonishingly from "pirate" political parties, i.e. from people who have intense knowledge not only of the legal aspects of todays models, but of the internet's technical details, which is very important for this topic to understand the seemingly radical approaches. In the long term, there is no alternative to cometo very different models, for security matters, internet freedom and of course the payment of the music industry and the artists/musicians...
A small rant, but somehow important remark about illegal downloads of benefiz albums.
Just got the brandnew physical CD in hands yesterday, today i found it on one a huge illegal MP3 download site (see screenshot, i will not share it's name or link).
Really? I think this album is very cheap to buy already...
I encourage to buy our song "Mercenary" legally. You can buy it from all major music distributors online, it's even on spotify (i.e. so cheap it's nearly free at the streaming services...). Though e.g. on amazon you will find 2 different prices of our song. Actually the song on the Knightfest Sampler 2017 costs a tiny bit more, but the Knights of Thor H.M.C. German Chapter is there to support heavy metal music locally in Germany and gives it's profit to a place, where children with incurable diseases can live their last days with professional care, i.e. the Kinder-Hospiz Sternenbrücke, Hamburg.
So people downloading this album illegally not only work against the bands that they are listen to, but are also stealing from children with cancer, actually...

Btw, if you have a copyright on any song there, i can give you the name of the page for legal action, if you want it...
