Good you feel better now. I know how bad it can come. A doctor told me that i will for sure land in a wheel chair. I was 25. They all told me i should not stress my back with sports, because it will not get better anymore, it is already permanent damage. I had a bad hurting back striking me down more than 3x a year that time (in Germany it is called "witch shot" and this pretty much describes how that moment feels...i think everyone having this know what i mean...) So what i did was starting with workouts on heavy weights and lifting. I was an angry and defiant young man, always doing the opposite to what people wanted me to do. LOL. To balance it out i made Tai Chi for smoothness of motion. Two years later the aching back had been gone and did not come back until today. So much for diagnostics and medical recommendations. Orthopedic specialised medical doctors are pretty much the worst medics under the sun... So i guess you had good luck with yours getting you out of hospital with fast recovery - nice! Listened into your new music and saw the vids. Man, you are a deeply relaxed man :-D with stories to tell - i like that! Aesthetics is complexity divided by redundancy, mathematically spoken, and you get your stuff right. Nothing is distracting from the musical ideas you have, and this is kind of relaxing and intense the same time. Wish i could do things like this. I guess my brain is much too busy (in a negative way...) to get things so straight to the point. I really admire this. Also your minimalistic but always striving for the highest quality you can get out of your equipment type of approach to production is very inspiring. Thumbs up! Cool stuff.

Thanks so much for the kind words... 8) I am home, its good to be home, though I do miss the bringing of cups of tea right to me.. and the morning and afternoon snack 8) I am going to take it easy for a few days, and then maybe do another video.... I am grateful for people purchasing the music and that its giving some enjoyment, and perhaps a little creative inspiration. cheers Wiz

I've been in PT for a couple years after a pretty bad injury myself. Daily struggle.

Hey Wiz, I own a 52 channel Wheatstone SP5A console, plus a 24 channel summing mixer and I was really impressed with the sound of your modified Delta. Care to explain your mixing process and also the mods to your console?
Compression was analog or digital? Etc... Thanks -L.

Hey Wiz, I own a 52 channel Wheatstone SP5A console, plus a 24 channel summing mixer and I was really impressed with the sound of your modified Delta. Care to explain your mixing process and also the mods to your console? Compression was analog or digital? Etc... Thanks -L. So the modified delta... Its basically Jim Williams mods, with a couple of my own. The TL072 op amps are replaced with 49720s. All the caps are pretty much out of the signal path. I replaced the caps in the EQ section with REL Caps I replaced Aux 4 and made it a variable HPF.. . awesome. I dont sum on the console, I use it as 16 individual channel strips. The Line inputs, direct outs, and inserts are all going to patch bays. Outboard gets inserted there. The direct outs of the console are post fader. The only thing I track with outboard is my main vocal, it goes through a STA Level (drip) So I track everything then it gets re amped via the console and the outboard.... I then use Logics EQ to nip and tuck things.. maybe a notch here or there.. usually only maybe 2 or 3 tracks get a touch up. Then a couple of songs on the album had The Glue plug in on the two buss... usually nothing. The reverb is Bricasti, and Relab 480L with the Bricasti usually performing the function of room simulation and the relab doing effect verb stuff.... All pretty simple... Then it went to Bob O for mastering..... The delta is killer, because it behaves like its not there sonic wise... and I use it for gain staging all the outboard... driving things, etc cheers Wiz
