One of BOC's first breaks was replacing Redbone opening on the Alice Cooper "Killer" tour. We did about 8 dates in central-south Atlantic with Alice that taught us invaluable info about projecting on a big stage to a big audience. We did do a few shows with Redbone in the early 70's, but I never really got to talk to them.
Putting "Come And Get Your Love" on the "Guardians Of The Galaxy" soundtrack was a cool thing to do.
