Few people like to hear this, but here goes. Proper diet does more for people health wise than any amount of excersize or sleeping I've found. People were designed to eat a certain way and certain things. Like everything else we touch, humans have screwed it up. The average American eats 3 to 4 times in a day what the body needs to thrive. The digestive system is the hardest working system in our bodies and yet we overwork it by 3 or 4 times to get rid of all the excess crap we eat. And then we wonder why we are tired all the time. Well, that's why.
And don't even get me started on all the man made chemicals our food supply is saturated with. We eat shit that we wouldn't feed a horse. We take better care of our cars than we do our own bodies. I'm not preaching from a bully pulpit here fellas. I'm passing this on from experience. Start eating right and your life will get exponentially better. I'm 43 and I feel better today in every way than I did when I was a teenager. True story.

Yeah, cowboy, diet is waaay more important than we realize, especially if you do the research and find there are many foods that can prevent or cure illnesses that traditionally are treated with drugs.
Drugs, pretty much ended in the 80's for me, although the green stuff is occasionally nice but those occasions are rare. Around the same time I made it a point never to think of my age again and to just forget about it.
Stuff I picked up over the years: For prostrate health no more than 3 servings of red meat per week, and a sexual release at least 3 times per week. Eating less as you grow older increases longevity, especially if it's high quality food. No hamburgers or fast food since the 80's. Water, as much as you can drink. Start the day off with 3 glasses. Some sort of martial arts, yoga, meditation. Read up on the healthy benefits of coconut oil. You'll be shocked. Cultivate gratitude and humility. Enjoy what you do and always live in the present moment. Eliminate worry. Love your family. Don't look for happiness...especially from anyone or anything besides yourself. Don't complain or criticize.
