Sounds incredible. It's like the musician (me) is playing for you right in the room. Natural, un-digitized HUGE sound, or at least as un-digitized as a DAC can get.
and yes, it weighs a ton. The box and the two separate power supplies weighed in at 67 lbs

Let’s see no tape cost no cleaning alignment or moving parts, long term worth every penny and really a steal!

(you probably need to live in the Northeast to fully understand that)

Pope: Cost = $7,500 (not cheap) ericn: Thanks, yes - it's almost tape, without tape hassles ward: I do get it, believe me So far, compared to the Burl B80 Mothership D/A - it's cleaner, more natural sounding. Thicker, more 3D and weighty as well. Must be those huge Cinemag xformers.

Bought a Fulltone Deja Vibe and a Voodoo Lab Superfuzz for $50. Seller said there was a broken knob on each of them...turned out they were just threaded ones that needed tightened Going to pick up a Standard Audio Level-Or after my session today. Used to have one and miss it for making things blow up, and it’s also a great distortion for bass and synths. Trying to up my outboard compression game as deals come my way.

Trying to get my new/used UAD Quad Satellite set up with UA so I can sell my Apollo 8...
I mastered an 8 track album today, and used the Chandler Curve Bender on 80% of the masters... might have to buy that one if they don't give it to me in the transfer.
One track it wasn't right so I switched to TDR Slick EQ M and that worked fine.
The Izotope Imager is also a pretty tasty plugin. I widened 5 of the mono tracks and it made a big difference. Quick, easy.
I demoed Oeksound Soothe too and it saved one of the tracks. Some crappy Zoom recorder. I couldn't get there with EQ, but Soothe was able to get me there. To much nasty treble in some of these cheaply recorded tracks. Probably going to have to buy that one eventually as well... missed the RGO pre-order... oops.

Snagged a Shadow Hills Mono Gama with the Level-Or. Wow. It’s a great sounding preamp. Pretty impressed. Wasn’t really planning on keeping it...might have to.
Also picked up a pile of vintage drums for $100. The score in the lot is a 14” Slingerland floor tom. It has a matching rack tom but it has different hardware added which makes it a no go for me...but it still has a couple nice useful parts. Among it is also a Ludwig blue sparkle rack tom and bass drum. I don’t know if the bass drum can be saved...little water damage on the bottom from being store in the basement and the wood is pretty soft in one area. I might take it to a local drum shop and see what they say. I try to save them whenever I can!
Finally, some ELCO cables...because I sure as heck don’t want to start completely from scratch on a new patch bay.

I sold my console, and am de-commissioning the patch bays and wiring. All Mogami / Elco's. Will be putting up a ton of stuff FS soon. Bays, M to M interconnects, Fanouts, etc. Need to sell some of this. I just bought a KTM 350 XC-F. A different kind of gear problem.... LOL

FWIW the original designer of those amps is a friend of mine, he left Marshall about a year ago. He recommended the 20H, but I didn’t ask him to elaborate. Apparently the power section on it should be the one on the Jubilee, although he says the design did change a bit since his departure. Try both if you can!
