HD Native Thunderbolt interface (not fun) Fairchild Reverbatron II 659...could be fun! Has 3 different spring tanks for 3 different reverb times. I’m hoping that it’ll sound great and I can sell off a couple others I have (I have a Tapco 4400, Sound Workshop 242, Peavey Valverb, and a Furman RV-1 already)

I personally did not think the Furman was anything really special. At least I've heard several others that were much more to my liking.

I think the most interesting thing the Furman does is as an overblown thing on drums which is rarely called for. But, it’s my least favorite of the ones I have. There’s an AKG BX10 which is unbelievable, and I’m hoping the Fairchild will get close to that vibe.

Nothing esoteric here, just some utility items. Don't usually buy carvin but they had a deal on their AC 120S power strip for $159. I grabbed it for the individual power outlet switches for my racked stuff. Figured it'd be cheap but the thing is built like a tank and is heavy. We'll see. Also ran into a deal on some diffusion panels for my new space.

Found a mint condition pair of AMS Neve 1084 from 2007. Had to bite at it. I'm not as bad as Kennedy but they probably won't last a year with me...LOL

Just had a Stam 1073MPA and a Stam SA-2A arrive on Wednesday. I won't have a chance to even open them up until Friday evening, though!

Got it from sphere. Coming from la. Apparently it belongs to the queens of the Stone Age. Hopefully it's as clean as he says. Got a pretty darn good deal on it. Had to jump.

My sister gives great gifts for holidays and birthdays... hydroflask is getting used more than I thought it would. Also today I just added this little Midas Legend L6 lunchbox. Gonna try to fill it with pres by the end of the month.

Added a new Marshall to my life. Did you grab that in Sweetwater? 4 bones seems pretty good. Yes. I was making all these plans around interfaces, was going to get a used UAD Satellite so I can sell my Apollos... Then I got the email about the $399 DSL40 blowout and I had to smash the breaks on all that and get this amp first of all. Now I am urgently trying to find an easy way to get a G12M-65 Creamback Celestion in there. [EDIT: should be here Wednesday!] Once all that's settled I'll get back to interfaces, preamps, EQs, and such. I had to buy the DSL combo because my main amp, my favorite amp right now, is a DSL100H head with a massive 4x12 cabinet. The little combo is more "reasonable" for lots of situations so I wanted to have it as an option. The Clean/Overdrive channel is just so good. And I do step on the red channel once in a while, for fun, but mostly I use pedals on the "clean" channel for my gain.

5 new toys - I mean, tools! And a gaping void! The Chromas are loaded with LTL Implode (1176 comp) Colour Modules. The Colour Palette has LTL Pulse delay and the 15 IPS module. I still have space for another cool module. I haven't been able to try any of the gear, it arrived in the middle of a recording session... Attachments:

Pair of JBL 705P's. Bottom is reasonably matching the LSR28P's they're replacing, which seems impossible for a box so small. Less box bloat too.
Not new, but finally wired my dbx 900 rack in, so access to another (2) 902, (3) 903, (2) 411 on top of the pair of 902's I've been running in the 2 unit rack.

So, these arrived today. Soyuz SU-019 and a matched pair of Soyuz SU-013. I already have and love the ones with the blue badges so thought these with the green badges should compliment them. Attachment Deleted

Should be receiving a lake placid blue, k line strat tomorrow! Can’t wait. I’ve had strats over the years, but foolishly sold them all off. I’ve been working on a lot of music lately that just calls for that sound, and I couldn’t justify a custom shop guitar, so I went with a used K line. Super siked! Also ordered a really pretty hand wound Peruvian guitar strap from Original Fuzz to go with it....pics coming soon.....

You beat me by one day, mikec ! My new SU-013 matched pair arrived on 5/10. Haven't had a chance to plug them in yet, but I'm looking forward to it soon. I'm curious to hear about your experience between the 017 and the 019, once you've used the 019 for a bit. I'm interested in getting one of those two, and I can justify a $2000 mic a bit easier than a $3500 mic right now. But if I'm going to regret not saving up for the 017, then it's certainly worth it to wait.
