I received the Apogee Digital Control Remote on Saturday and it was just plug and play. Very robust and substantial feel. It works really well having the monitoring control right at my fingertips. After a few minutes of use my almost new Dangerous Source went on Reverb.

This is the last album I produced before going 100% self-producing, Green - The Weight Of The Chord. The guy sent me some tapes... years after it was released, and weeks or more after saying to do so. Sort of fitting that they all contain random assortments of songs, none of them have the full album, and they are all low in level. I'm glad he did though, and happy 4/20. I had to listen to all 5 cassettes to find 3/4 of the album. I wish he would have paid for regular mastering instead. Cassette is a joke I would never recommend it to anyone serious at this point. It's a fun novelty but not too much more than that. The "quality" is just nowhere to be found. It's just really hitting me since I know these tracks intimately. The only good thing I can say about is that it is completely separated from "Digital Democracy." But a 7" or 12" vinyl record is going to boss all over a cassette any day. The cassette might actually be more impactful than a BandCamp or iTunes release. It's so hard to find peoples' attention these days.

Which one is better? Pro Replica or Audioscape? I can't answer that on the grounds that I'll piss off one of them by doing so, and they're both excellent. And better is such a subjective thing anyhow . . . Here's the caveat emptor: Neither one of them buzzes or squeals or picks up radio stations or adds white noise like the originals did. So they're both losers!!

Inovonics 201. We’ll see if it works 😳
I think I’m running out of cheaper things I want to have around and just have to suck it up and start saving for the expensive stuff...

Just bought another Focusrite Red 6. And another Orban EQ.
Why? Because I was stupid enough before I joined you bunch, now I am worse. A true slut for gear.

Artisan Tele. Fantastic instrument: Return it - they didn’t give you a switch tip!! At first I couldn't see it in the bags included in the case. It wasn't inside the Fender bag, but in a second bag put together by Wildwood. Had me going for a minute.

Awe I feel for you you can always store some gear here😁 Racks are cheap, cheaper to build ! I almost bought a big old open frame server rack for storage from electronics surplus just because it would be easy but then remembered there are 2 24 space 18in deep racks sitting there all ready !

As you've probably noticed from pictures, I build my own racks. It's the only way I can get what I want.

Same here I need to post a pick of the Zebra Wood box joint rack I built for the Ampex AG440 1/4 when I get some finish on it ! Anybody know where I can get a nice shiny stainless 1u panel to match the Ampex? Would a Festool track saw count as a gear purchase if used for racks?
