Presonus FaderPort. I'm sick writing volume envelopes with a mouse. Transport controls along with a push button punch-in is also useful. Picked it up for $100 AUD ($80 USD) I may look at either the FaderPort 8 or the Icon Qcon Pro X in the future but this will do for now. Although if I could only find a 32 channel DAW midi to VCA controller that would work with my Neotek Elite I would be a happy camper!

So I have a wood floor in the studio where the monitor stands go... turns out that the sound anchor stands I purchased aren't fully functional unless I purchase another $150 worth of what they call Cone coasters for my stands.. Apparently the stands uses screws to lock into carpet and help decouple well if I don't use Cone coasters I won't receive the full benefits of this stand ...
So frustrating and of course I find this out as I got to out my stands up smh this feels like a never ending saga ... yes this was communicated as well when I spoke with all three companies VK, Barefoot, and Sound Anchor.. of course SA won't have stock of these for at least another business week or 7-10 days ... FML and SMFH 🤦♂️😞

Get those speakers up and running. Who gives a damn if they arent properly decoupled yet. Throw some noise through em!!!

Probably going to start a Dropbox subscription also. Box is screwing me over. Time to consolidate and move on.

Well, bought a KM84, a 1982 Les Paul Standard in tobacco sunburst, a 1936 Ward (by Gibson) archtop guitar with a pickup installed in the 1940s, many many parts na pieces and supplies... This is one crazy expensive vocation!

My Collins 116f eq came in today. Picked up one of those heritage audio Bluetooth 500 series, and also another c37p.

Yes my sales guy has been remanded numerous times and I now deal directly with Jeff Ehrenberg the 3rd in charge.. The CS ppl are pretty bad too. Anyway Jeff told me to make some vinyls discs and screw the screws into those. Or something like that..wood or whatever I can find basically. Then he says that the cone coasters are for moving the stands and do improve the sound 🤦♂️ Sound Anchor and Barefoot say the same, that the cone coasters are needed blah blah ... Jeff did say he sees the coasters as an upsell and I feel like they should have thrown them in at this point ... so over this it's been a night mare ... guess I'll Go get the trusty saw out and do some wood working now instead of music 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ Would love to hear my speakers at this point but I don't want to judge them unfairly which was the main reason for not skimping out!

There are a bunch of milled disks for Audiophile spikes out there if you spend a bit of time you will find something far cheaper.

Sound toys is on sale guys! just picked decapitator and echo boy finally 😀 Damn you... $115 to upgrade to the Soundtoys 5 bundle from my collection of freebie/donation licenses… tempting, I have all the IK plug-ins which are mostly EQ/dynamics, very little in the way of modulation/delays...

Well this was a want purchase and instead of upgrading my auto tune ( auto tune wants a CC not PayPal ) And of course the Soundtoys plugs don't even install on OSX Lion haha 🤦♂️ That's what I get for putting a want before they need.. oh well, auto tune and one other thing and I'm going fully 64 bit ... so yeah ...

Slept on it, woke up and pulled the trigger. Traded in Little AlterBoy, Little PrimalTap, Little MicroShift, Devil-Loc, Sie-Q and Tremolator for the Soundtoys 5 Bundle at $120. Those freebie/donation plug-ins really do work as a loss leader, paid all of $33 on them and probably wouldn't have gone for the bundle without the trade-in discount. It's not unlike the empty spaces in a 500 rack...

Killer! Deeper than my 60's Ludwig. Someone posted a red sparkle one on the Rogers Facebook today for $400 which is about as cheap as you'll find one

Cubase Pro 9 is 64 bit ONLY so no choice for me, haha! I'm not going to get it this time, but I will succumb to the soundtoys bundle eventually. It seems to be on sale every 3 or 4 months. Too many other important purchases right now for me.
