My apologies I'd be willing to bet that, even with your extensive collection, you ain't got nothing that sounds like this!

Fair play bro, how many budgets have you killed in your role at Audioscape 😁 That's what I call being "Ward-Rolled". In the super secret meeting of secret the secret society of senior audio advisor ( secret AA) we decided it was being re-Warded. Guess who made that suggestion?

Guess who made that suggestion? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! Oh My GOD! I am dying laughing here. Simple fact: No studio has ever been harmed by any piece of audioscape gear and IN FACT, every single audioscape piece has improved EVERY single recording from EVERY studio it works in. every piece is flawless. Is every piece for you? Fµ¢|< Nø . . . I don't personally get on with the V108. But others love it. Anyhow, may this thread be filled with stories of the latest audioscape gear you've acquired!

I just ordered a pair of blue light glasses. At times I feel like I’m going crossed eyed looking at a screen so I’m interested to see if they help

Probably not the most exciting thing, but I pick up a beautiful, gently used Odyssey FZ1116W with 11U Top Slanted 16U Vertical Pro Combo Rack with Casters. It will house most the studio during our move and keep all my gear safe while in storage for a bit. I have a smaller rack mount case that I'll keep a small rig in for a bit. .

New road case rack, an (big milestone for me here) my first patchbay, a 96-point TT-to-DB25 model. This is one time where I racked everything up, cabled, and the signal flowed as expected (half-normaled, ground bussed). Next up: outboard gear.

I just ordered a pair of blue light glasses. At times I feel like I’m going crossed eyed looking at a screen so I’m interested to see if they help Please report back on this! Thank you! I'm in front of four computer screens all day, every day. I've used both regular and blue light lenses. Personally, I haven't noticed any difference. If you read reviews from glasses and lense companies, blue light lenses protect your eyes and relieve strain. If you read reviews from medical sources you'll find there is no scientific research to prove that blue light can damage the eyes or have other health effects. Not trying to rain on anyone's parade here. Might just be placebo effect, but if it works for you...

That may be a good way to test blocking blue light.

Unfortunately are my place and at several studios around town they use giant TV screens and I think that might be part of the problem

I’ve always heard it helped with the circadian rhythm more than anything. Staring at blue light screens after sunset can make our bodies think it’s still daytime is the way I’ve understood it. I haven’t tried any so I’m curious as well.
