Just got two Louder Than Liftoff Hitmaker 4000 . Is that the upgrade to the Louder Than Liftoff Extreme Mega Creator Thunder Kraken EX 3500?
Just in case that's a joke, I like LTL stuff but that name made me smile.

Just got two Louder Than Liftoff Hitmaker 4000 . I might get another pair at some point, I wouldd like to use both the FAT and RICH settings in a row.
Well I expect twice as many hits, or hits twice as fast from you from here on x-D

I got a Source Audio True Spring. It's a stereo reverb and a stereo pan/tremolo. Incredible! Kind of functions as a clean boost too. Took me months to "find" this before pulling the trigger. Flint? nope. Wampler whateverlidoo? Nope. and so on, on down the list. This one does all the things. Verry innerspring!

It's a damn good pedal. If it makes anyone feel more interested, Josh from JHS in one of his youtube "shows" said this is "the best spring reverb pedal."
And then he played a real spring tank in the video, but whatever, that's not totally practical.
And I love the fact that it's programmable and has stereo tremolo all in one pedal. About $200 bucks, maybe more if you purchase at full sticker price.

Does it make thunder if you kick it?

I do not want to mislead anyone with my actual wait time, because it is very likely that the understandable holdups I experienced do not reflect the current supply conditions, which apparently have improved.

Yes wait times with anything custom made has been frustrating over the last 2 x years. I am waiting for a few items at the moment that have been a lot longer then anticipated. Some are due to current climate, other reasons are also that manufacturer is too way too busy and overcommitted. Thats the more frustrating part. But alas it will all melt away when you have those final products in your hands. Congrats with your h47t mics, they do perform quite nicely.

Did some trading for a Universal Audio LA-2A
Now I don’t have to hear any b!tch!n’ when someone ask to use one and I didn’t have it (even though I find the TLA-100 and Avalon AD2044 more useful)

I found the orig SansAmp and Ross Rock Box I’d lost. SansAmp is interesting, not necessarily satisfying. The Rock Box is just goofy, maybe in the right era cover band.

FMR RNC.
Exactly as described, a no-color compressor. It's not exciting, but I thought it would be more transparent than it is. Software compressors can be more transparent, aliasing and all. There are some peculiarities: The release is weird, it sounds like it's stepped instead of continuous in some settings. I thought I might be able to use it as a de-esser by using the sidechain and high and low passing the signal, but it's not that quick. I'm not sure whether I like it. The compressor behavior is weird. And the Super Nice button makes the controls even weirder. But this is day one. I'll continue to investigate.
However, if I place the RNC after an eq, and then I boost 8k like a madman (like CLA) it does soften the boost significantly and the result is quite nice. This is something that many software compressors don't do very well, and I have no idea why. This might be one reason too keep it.

Military Time, or thread page number? Chris Whatever comes last or later.. I like talking about studio equipment but I hate shopping for it, researching and having my studio in pieces whilst I test all of it out. Glad it's all over with for at least another decade.

Nowadays I hate selling stuff. Partly since fees increased on ebay/Reverb etc. Unless it's to a friend, who can use it. Even then, I occasionally give things away as gifts. Chris P.S. I'm hoping to get a Beesneez BU67 by next Summer. Lovely tube mic.

Nowadays I hate selling stuff. And I now hate to buy used stuff on eBay/Reverb. Everything has gotten so expensive (perhaps because of fees) that many sellers think that their used gear should cost MORE than retail price. I don't understand Reverb anymore. I'll rather buy it new, cheaper, and with a warranty. Case in point: I was looking to buy a FMR RNC and I was able to find it new, with no taxes, from Front End Audio for $185. eBay/Reverb sellers wanted $220+ for their used units. Does anybody know what's going on?

Does anybody know what's going on? Shortages that aren't always so short anymore but if people keep buying over the odds they'll keep selling at inflated prices. When I looked into API there was a 4 month waiting time. Heritage for the OST was similar but fortunately I landed on a batch. Beyer's are hard to get hold of at the moment (besides the M88), I mean it's sporadic at best.
Recently purchase to delivery times have been about 2 -3 weeks on average which ain't too bad really. Weirdly enough I've seen a lot of Stam stuff in stock LOL..

Reminds me of a great bumper sticker I saw lately... "This is the earliest I've ever been late". Chris P.S. Kidding here. I wish Joshua and the others who make high quality gear well.

Does anybody know what's going on? Answer, no, not really. But there's a lot of people who will try to tell you what it is.

I love 15" hats when I can keep then 6 feet away from the snare drum and recorded separately, preferably in another studio ... but someone else . . .in another country . . . on a different project. I got jokes!!
