Studer A80 MKIV 2" 24 Track Soundcraft 2400 Grace 801 AKG 451 Oh wow! Congratulations!!! So many questions, so many concerns, one things for sure.. epic, epic sound I picked up the tape machine and they gave me the console! Don’t have a use for it really but going to try and find it a good home There were some beautiful Tannoy Eaton monitors in the wall but the real estate agent wouldn’t let me take them…selling them with the house. Maybe they’ll call and let me have them if the new owner doesn’t want them

Softube’s Model 82 SH101 and G-Force/Oberheim’s SEM monosynth plugins. I’ve always wanted both irl, but these and some midi controllers are quite fun and sound wonderful. Itches successfully scratched.
Really happy to still be supporting G-Force. My first plugin purchase ever was the M-Tron around 2001 if I remember correctly.

I pulled a Lace Sensor Blue out of the closet and put it in my usa standard strat neck position, blocked the tremolo with a piece of alder I cut to size, finessed the nut, intonated, now I have this sort of monster godzilla shred strat guitar. This thing will not go out of tune, and sustains like mad. It looks cool and unique too, since I refinished it with a green stain and it has all black plastics. Photo of this monster godzilla shred strat guitar please!

Weird technical problems will be solved later in the week. In the mean time I have sort of "perfected" a strange, unidentifiable Jazzmaster style guitar, that feels woody, sounds woody, will not go out of tune, and can either roar or plink. It's bright white with a black pickguard and two covered humbuckers, black solid covers with no visible holes or polepieces of any kind. Pickup coil splits on both units. The word "gom" is written on the bulging end of the body, gom representing "true" meditation, or no-meditation.

Old Tannoy systems go for ungodly sums but are pretty easily copied and if your patient you can find Tannoy drivers for far more earthly sums. If you want to go modern Coax think Radian.

ADK Z-251 is on its way from reverb. Saw a deal too good to pass up, made an even lower offer that I thought would be rejected, but seller accepted it…so my wallet is going to be hurting for a while.

Snagged a Yamaha Subkick. I've had these a couple times, figure it be a nice option to have around the studio

Oh, and I may not like it and return it, but I got an MD421 to try as a different dynamic to record it with than my sm57 or Sm7B. Willing to entertain other possibilities as well.

Lol. So I have an M88 on the way too. Will compare it with the MD421 and keep one (or both). The m88 is a killer mic, so is the 421 ime. The 421 gets pigeonholed as a mic for rack Tom’s but its seriously great on electric guitars, bass cabs, hand percussion, and vocals. The m88 can really shine on those sources too but for my tastes the 421 is a little more versatile. The m88 being a little more sensitive to source. However, for vocals, the best vocal sound I’ve gotten with the m88 blew the pants off the best vocals I’ve gotten with the 421. So yeah, idk, keep both lol. You kind of can’t go wrong with either. Oh yeah, the m201 is awesome too…

An awesome little pencil dynamic! I bought three on a whim when someone here mentioned a bunch being sold off. They are fantastic.

Nothing sexy or fun, just a bunch of Canare L4e6s ( purple), Rean TRS plugs 2 Panels punched for Neutrik D size jacks Penn Elcom rear rack rail mounts some nice copper forcked lugs ( Banana plugs don’t lock in the back of an amp rack some more Baltic Birch for cabinets.
I almost grabbed this huge Wren Plunge router for $100, but it won’t fit on my circle cutting jig. Found these cool little cheap corner clamps at Rockler while I was drooling over the Shaper handheld CNC.
Oh I forgot another Cheap Seismic Audio 10 space ATA, for $200 shipped these are decent racks, but the M5 tapped rack rails are a pain.

Bought a third-party color grading plugin for Final Cut Pro called "Color Finale," and am right now grading some commercial footage I shot last week for a client. Final Cut has most of these tools in there already, but Color Finale really has everything laid out in a much faster workflow. It opens up a few areas to make grading in Final Cut more like DaVinci Resolve.

Lol. So I have an M88 on the way too. Will compare it with the MD421 and keep one (or both). I dumped my 421s a couple years ago. But I sold them to a former student, so I have access if I need them Lol. So I have an M88 on the way too. Will compare it with the MD421 and keep one (or both).
