I acquired a Le Creuset signature dutch oven pot (LOL) in fire red color. The guy I've been doing repairs for (Super reverb, Memory Boy, PDS2000, etc) started to feel guilty about all the work so he finally gave me the pot he's been talking about for months. Currently in the oven at 350F with a whole chicken, potatoes, onion, carrot, green pepper, sage, rosemary, garlic, salt and pep, olive oil, paprika, man that thing smells good. I have that same pot, same color! It's killer. Warm tone for days.

I’ve got the Le Creuset dutch oven too. Love it (and just cast iron in general).

Cast iron, pshaw. Carbon steel is what gets used in restaurants, seasons just as well, heats quicker, and delivers the same great flavor. It's not like people can taste the difference between tape and digita... I MEAN, cast iron and carbon steel! (Joking, I love my cast iron.)
Picked up some Samsung T7 and T5 drives that I spotted on sale.

Don’t sleep on the small saucepans with the lil pour spout on the side. Easily our most used home item over the past couple decades, and it still looks brand new. Also: pls post a pic of the finished chicken!

Aaaand, I picked up a used Valley People 610 Compressor/Expander/VeryInterestingDynamicsDevice PLUS my Arturia Micro Freak toy synth finally showed up. I think I ordered it in November...and they still sent the wrong color. The synth as of its most recent firmware update is extremely deep. I've historically not been the biggest fan of the Arturia sound, but this one has some really nice DNA with an actual analog filter based on the Oberheim SEM, code from Mutable Instruments and Noise Engineering on some of the oscillators, and the ability to use your own wavetables. An incredible amount of features for the price. The biggest f-up on the design is the need for a big line lump power supply. Anything this lightweight should be powered over USB. These guys make an aftermarket adapter to use it with USB power. But of course it's out of stock The Valley People 610 though. Wow. It's a super-juiced dyna•mite/kepex slice/dice smoosh/push kind of a thing. I will admit to irrationally loving the typography / layout / design / and logo of this era of Valley People gear, but even when I close my eyes, I really love how I'm able to mess with dynamics and space on this. There's a CV input on the back that apparently can handle +/- 1V instead of the usual +/- 5V you see in most synths. (I'm curious if I can easily get a 1/5 voltage divider and use weird Moog envelope stuff with this). There's a lot to still dig through in the manual I found online, but in general it sounds like nothing I've used before. I saw a translated French review that said something like "more focused on accuracy than musicality" and I think that's what I'm hearing. It really slices the air around sounds in a unique way and can give you the feeling of being extremely close to the source of the sound. Bonus: the sidechaining is capable of some pretty cool stutter-like gating effects. Paul Buff was a genius. Anyone ever played with one of these? And yes, this pic is my sadsack, cable management-averse, Covid-19 recovery / isolation workspace.

Ya'll, didn't have time for a picture, but that was some of the best food I've ever cooked in my life. Right off the top of the mind, no recipe. There's a whole empty story of karma, family, friends, death, giving, and so on behind this pot, I'd like to think a little bit of that goes into it. It was effortless.

I have different workflows in mind. Full recall with Wes and Bettermaker summing. Nicerizer or SPL for different flavours. Full tube with my 8 Coils, Tree Branches and the Bustard. My Console is a 500 one for bigger mixes and it has a built in Neve 16 channel 10XX summing mixer into an 8816 with faders for parallel drums.

I want to see this console! 2 Flea 49’s, well want to adopt a 54 year old? Don’t worry both Bincent and Hudsonic have already said no. Seriously though props to what you listed, I have mas respect for those who show their own flavor.

Not sure if the Covid or that tube sumbus have me sweatin'! Sounds like it's a lot of fun. And that SPL has pretty great features for the price; not familiar with the sound of their gear, though.

I just got a custom built fuzz from Guitar. He calls it the Nocturne. I’ve never liked fuzz pedals; always heard them as buzzy and annoying. But this one is different: exceptionally smooth. Straight into a Deluxe Reverb or an AC30, it sounds great! Plays well with other pedals, too. I’ve been having fun stacking it with various ODs. Good fun!

I just like the build quality.
