Congrats man!
Though I thought you were looking for an API? What made you change your mind?

Congrats man! Though I thought you were looking for an API? What made you change your mind? We were weighing different options and this deal came along and fit the criteria.

We had a 5088 at my school (Ohio University). Back then, I think we were one of the first edu institutions to get one. I tracked my band through that thing. We were the first to use it. I remember getting killer drum tracks.

If you didn’t get killer tracks through it you realize you would have to change to a philosophy or English major right😎

The 5088 caught my eye when I was looking for a console and gave me serious gear lust, but realistically couldn't justify it for my little novice home personal studio. Looking forward to your thoughts/impressions once hands on.
indiehouse - fellow OU alumni here. Didn't know OU took music so seriously - guess I should have skipped a few of my med lectures to go over and hang out at the music building (although I was there pre-5088 timeframe)

Jesse, using this with James' RADAR would be heaven. You could stay completely out of the box. Hope you're considering that.

I’m probably going to do the exact opposite and stay completely in the box. I do too much songwriter production type stuff to be out of the box. Perhaps, for certain projects, I’ll go all analog, but it really needs to be a super tight band doing a studio lockout for that too work for me. Pumped to have this as the front end though. Hopefully, we can get an expander in early 22 to give us the channel count that I need.

Honestly, it's smarter than a vintage piece, assuming you could get your hands on one for decent money. This'll work and work for years and that's gotta mean plenty. Plus, it's not trying to be a reissue of something, it stands on its own merits. It also looks HOTTT. I like the white-API feelings I get from looking at it.

Pretty silly, great software. I bought the Electric Grand C70P for $35 plus 15 pieces of jam currency, added the Electric Piano Bass, Stage 73 Mark V, Wurly Model 120, Fractured Piano, Shipwreck Piano, Malletension and Malletopia for free... then got tired, will pick it up in a week or so... but there'll be even more freebies to deal with then... might've bitten off more than I can download here...
