A new Universal Audio 6176 is on its way. Bought one years ago for a $1000.00 below list, when it stopped working five days later I didn't question why.. It seemed too good to be true and it was. Anywho this is brand new, I always liked the 610-B and nothing wrong with a UA 1176LN.

Ordering a Lisson grove AR-1.... chose it over the BG2 as it’s a bit cheaper, gonna be quicker to receive, and been on quite a few records I love. Excited.
Hopefully my vocals will shine ..!

Just picked up a pair of Portico 5033s. I'm glad I have somewhat dainty fingers, as they really crammed those lil half racks full of EQ-y goodness!

Last of my shopping spree for a while, managed to find a brand new Gen 2 ISK 2B. Score.! It's one heck of a mic for $500.00, definitely worth a try if anyone is looking for a K67 style tube mic.

Bought the $39 upgrade to Analog Lab V at Arturia's three day sale. I think you can still get Intro free by signing up for a Soundbetter.com account then upgrade it.
Downloaded the free Kawaii Dreams from Mars instrument from SamplesFromMars, and also got the V2 upgrade and 360 mixer for SSL Native Essentials.

Well it seems I just bought one of the most rare microphones made. A Neumann MM2. A U47 body with a nickel M50 capsule attached to it. Only 90 were ever built. The cool thing is you can detach the capsule and put a normal U47 headbasket on it. Plus I just got 2 more Sennheiser MKH mics. A MKH415T and a MKH435T

Anywho this is brand new, I always liked the 610-B and nothing wrong with a UA 1176LN. Those things benefit greatly from a set of NOS tubes. I love my LA-610, I’m sure you’ll love the 6176 just as much.

Hmm... Roswell Crash 1947. This microphone introduced 1949. Coincidence? I think not! Chris

I really like AudioScape’s utilitarian look.

That's clearly a pointed remark. This is where Revive Audio comes in... Chris

Great microphone to have in a pandemic, vaccination and vocal tracks in one shot.

These are so rare that people don't realize what incredible omni mics they are. The brilliant M50 capsule and a U47 amplifier with VF14 tube. The neck is so long to avoid any close reflections reaching the capsule. I have mentioned this converts to a U47 just by changing the headbasket. This mic was made for Neumann's own in house measurements of their mics. It was followed by the MM3 which basically an M49 with this same headbasket and then the MM5 which used a different capsule.

Wunder Pafour. Loving it on piano. Just a little less low end than my Neve 1073. Makes it sit perfect.

bad ass! what are your plans for it? maybe we could start a separate binaural thread or something. My Primo capsules are en route from UK. I plan to record 'everything' with it for a while, then figure out how it fits in a studio workflow.
