I got the Tokyo Dawn Slick EQ M mastering EQ, I know dan will be proud, haha. Will probably grab the Slick EQ GE in a couple more days, since there is a 10 EUR upgrade path, and that one should be better for channels because of CPU use. Sale is ongoing at Plugin Boutique. Not that anyone needs MORE PLUGINS but it's kind of crazy that an EQ good enough for a mastering project can be this inexpensive. Just add the $10,000 speakers and custom acoustics I guess.

I got the TD fx bundle talked about in the limiter thread. Who knows, I might even download it sometime soon.

Strymon Mobius and a Dunlop Mini Expression Pedal, and a new to me 2019 16" MacBook Pro. Pedalboard feels set for the moment, although at some point I'll want a better delay with tap tempo vs. my Flashback... and there's always so many fuzz boxes people are making...

Pair of MG UMT 70's, Beyer 201, pair of Amek 9098's.
Funny about the 9098's...I bought a pair from GC for a good price a few months ago and one had an issue that they didn't want to pay to fix so I returned them. I didn't think I'd miss them a whole lot because they're pretty clean and straightforward. A couple months went by...I listened to some drum OH's and guitar I'd recorded with them and was really into the sounds, so I started looking for another pair. I found serial #'s 5 and 7, supposedly mint, and they're on their way to me now. Hope these ones last a bit longer.

My MM45's were feeling lonely so I finally caved and ordered a pair of MicroSubs. Patiently waiting...

Updated PT to the new 2021.3 release, which had a correction for aligning Carbon's hardware inserts, and got licenses for IK's AmpliTube 5 SE and T-Racks 5 SE included.
Decided to try my first Softube AAX DSP plug-in and bought Summit Audio Grand Channel on their Easter sale. Just installed Grand Channel, EQF-100, TLA-100A and the Saturation Knob to try them on Carbon's DSP.

KRK V6's to replace some powered Yamaha monitors. Took me a couple weeks for my ears to adjust and to get them dialed for my room but I am loving them. Changing monitors is a real trip.

Got all the TDR EQ plugins now, these things are pretty schweet. Once you learn how to use them. They have a learning curve, I'm not used to that with EQ's, it's a fun challenge!

Im so curious how many plugins you have at this point. Gotta be a few hundred? Yeah certainly, hundreds, maybe over a thousand in the actual plugin folder, but that includes bundles, free stuff, Cubase/Steinberg DAW included plugs and so on. The selected / used plugin folder is much smaller, but there's still a healthy collection in there. It's the Ocean Way of plugin folders, haha! I was just telling my brother in law today that I'm passionate about digital audio, computer audio. There's no other way to say it, it's almost as fun as playing instruments to me, getting the tones, getting the mix. I should probably try to get some clients for mixing or mastering work, I think I would be OK at it. I have long since surpassed the point of having what I need, at this point it's just fun. It keeps me cranking out demos, too, which is good. Some of them turn into real songs. It's certainly a cheaper hobby than some of the other audio gear hobbies like fancy rack gear, fits my budget. I never really enjoyed dealing with hardware anyway. Other than mics, preamps, and interfaces. I think I got all the TDR EQ's for about 66 bucks or so total, which is the price of a used SM57 to put it in perspective. Has kept me busy for 2 or 3 days now, so you could almost call it a cheap thrill, and I'll continue to use them. I have realized that equalizers are something I am particularly passionate about. At least for the past few months. I don't get as hyped up about compressors and reverbs, etc. Another good one today was the free Arousor V3 update, that opto mode and the new saturation are scha-weet.

Bought a 1979 Lab Series L9 amp on Saturday. Have L4 bass, L11 and L9 guitar amps, now, but still haven't gotten an L5 like I had in high school. Also picked up one of these... 24" kick drum outer heads, as a wall decoration

I've been on the videos and manuals, I would consider them sort of essential for these products.

I'd love to hear your feedback. Does it help your workflow? Well I just got hands on it this morning. So far I have enjoyed setting up a few profiles. Im sure as the days go by I'll integrate it more and more. I have it at work right now so not totally sure how much I'll use it here as I have an S6 as well.. but at home. I have high high hopes for it so it will probably make the move over there to try out.

Gyraf G22 - just checking it out today. It is not going back. Beautiful. Plenty of detail and a nice euphonic tone that is not overbearing. Great flexibility in settings. I have not figured out the M/S idea on it yet - that will be my next step. It is expensive, but very versatile. Easy resetting with tiny little steps on the controls. Cool meters. I was expecting it to have more color all the time - and it can have a lot of color - it is just a matter of settings. And quiet too! Ok, enough of a report. AB, which other vari mu's have you tried on mix buss? I'm thinking about a Pendulum Es8/6386, Manley Vari-mu, or a Highland Dyn BG1.. Gyraf seems interesting.
