Just picked up a Seymour Duncan Polaron Phaser. It’s probably one of the coolest guitar pedals I’ve ever owned. So many tones, from subtle two stage warmth, to crazy spaceship sounds. Plus, you can use it in envelope mode and get auto wah and talk box sounds. I’ve been getting lost in it the last few days.

The crowds are BREATHLESS with anticipation! I have been told that the two (?) somethings, that I MAY have bought MIGHT be burning in for a couple of days before MAYBE shipping out. Well...I got clarification of the somethings shipping.....go figure. Can't wait to see what they are!

I'm guessing they're probably not Apollo "somethings" with genuine UA Plugs. Chris

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! I hereby witness I heard it here first. OK..... Time for an up to the minute update!!! Not only have I decided that I'm going to buy something, but in standard fashion - I have decided to announce to the public that I'm going to buy TWO somethings! The last time I bought only ONE of something I've been regretting it since the day I bought it, and will have to get another matched up to it. (V Comp). Soon Charlie, SOON! I mean, come on....was it ever really a question as to whether or not two of anything are needed? So. I am happy to officially announce, that soon, I will announce a pair of somethings that I am going to buy!note: Ward, we will have to milk this now... This is your doing you know....... OK. This will be my final post on the matter, and I'm sure you all will appreciate THAT! Turns out it DID happen. Very happy here. Next to the Manley Vari-mu - both physically, and sonically, a very nice option. Similar Vari-mu goodness, but a little different vibe - more modern-ish - which is exactly what I wanted. The culprits - Locomotive 14B's.... (I must admit that only 2 of the 3 are mine. The other is a demo, and sadly, must return to Eric @locomotive so that he can recruit other LocoFanatics.

Oh, and . . .
Bought two more 421s off our friend @warzone Warren at Zen Pro as they're having a fantastic sale on them and I had to replace two that were stolen from the studio. Hard lesson learned on that one.

drbill are those the hand wired versions, or the PCB versions? PCB. Eric assured me they sound identical, and that individual tubes make more of a difference than the PCB vs. hand wired make.

That's how Audio Scape keeps his costs down and the reason my Neve 1073 DPX was 3k for 2 channels of premium 1073. Looking forward to your thoughts on the unit.

Got a Dimarzio PAF 36th Anniversary coming in so I can upgrade my Epiphone 335 Pro to a hopefully final stage. The Burstbucker Pro is going in the bridge, fingers crossed.
After that, just a bunch of refret jobs need to happen on 3 instruments, then there will be no more guitar work needed until something breaks.
Also got a bunch of Plugin Alliance plugins, since they are running one of the "big sales."

A pair of SVS SB 3000’s 13in powered subs with DSP showed up here while I was in the hospital on demo. I don’t think they are going to go back. My custom 10in Volt based boxes go a little deeper and are a little better in every regard, but $1K each all in one box with DSP controlled Via an IPhone app that has no problem with multiple subs. Short of a pair of big JL audio Fathoms this the best all in one sub I have heard. Having way to much fun.

I just got a Heritage TT73. Not sure I really need it but I've never heard the handwired version of Heritage preamps and the price was insanely cheap.

I've got a pair of Spectra 1964 V610 on order. Had to buy another rack off Craigslist for their arrival!
Also picked up a BB-DI on the purple site for $150. They are really great passive DI's if you are in the market.
And it looks like I just bought an AKG BX10 spring reverb. Stop me with the springs! These are really special units. I hope it survives shipping.

Oh things are coming!! Besides getting the KMS84s to go with the 84s, which work incredible together by the way and I know I still have to do the side by side and will soon. Also there's a woodpecker en route, some other preamps, my first of 8 Celestion RUBY alinco's. Looking forward to those... The VT72 should be here soon, and there's something coming from audioscape. YUMPIN YIMMINI!!

I’ve got one here. I really like it. Used it on a vocal once a while back and really liked it. So I finally grabbed one earlier this year. Did a sax session a month back for our Christmas album and my wife as well as a few other friends chose it over the U67. I think I prefer the FleA 49, but still. At some point I’ll make mine a pair.

I used a Plugin Alliance loyalty coupon to pick-up ACME Opticom XLA-3 for $15, then installed Reason Lite 11 with the license sent to Waves customers yesterday. Looks like IK's buy one, get two free VI group buy will hit buy one, get three free in the next 3 days: www.ikmultimedia.com/vigb/I bought Hammond B-3X for $140 and got MODOO DRUM and MODO BASS free, I'll be adding SampleTank 4 as the third freebie. Little time in the studio the last two months, most purchases were virtual free time killers... The IK VI group buy ended up buy 1 get 4 free; Bought - Hammond B-3X free - MODO DRUM, MODO BASS, SampleTank 4, L.A. Confidential for ST4 Bought - Syntronik VCF3 & Modulum free - Syntronik Memory V, SH-V, M-Poly and Hitmaker: EDM, Reggaeton, Synthwave, Trap for ST4, still 1 freebie left. Also bought T-RackS Leslie on sale for $25. Downloaded the free Newfangled Pendulate synth and bought Undulator for $14 while there. Grabbed the Pluginboutique sale on iZotope's BreakTweaker Expanded for $10 and got the Trash 2 and ujam Virtual Guitarist Carbon throw-ins. Quite a few free Waves licenses given away the last two months; OneKnob Louder, MaxxVolume, H-Comp, Manny Maroquin Tone Shaper, OneKob Phatter.
