Truly incredible. It's mind boggling. Almost makes me speechless but I had to say something. Yes. The first time I saw something from this series elicited a loud “WTF IS THAT!?!” Took a long time to find, hens teeth scarce.

Had a pair for awhile, but just restored and in operation. Have used as mix bus amps and also tracked vocals with one. Amazingly well matched response for 1930's electronics. These are a short-loaded version of the program amp used later in the 76 series consoles. Still have 80 years of cigarette smoke to get off the front chrome so it shines properly. HOLY SMOKES!!! That is one of the most GORGEOUS pieces of gear I've EVER seen!!! WOW....!!! kcatthedog - first time i've ever used the word "oaky" as a sonic descriptor... LOL. Couldn't think of anything more fitting at the time. Mwhahahaha, this is Charlie BTW - basically always is - anywhere online HINT: you'll always be able to tell it's me by an abundance of emoji's and laughing ;-)

HOLY SMOKES!!! That is one of the most GORGEOUS pieces of gear I've EVER seen!!! WOW....!!! What you can’t see is that the amp chassis is hinged on the rear and folds out to the back; you don’t have to de-rack it for service! The guts just fold out! Inflation adjusted to 2020, these were $4150 apiece.

(Damn it, now I've forgotten what I was originally going to post about before I got distracted.....)

Oh, now I remember! Does anybody know what the approximate shipping times are between Sweden and California these days? I've been waiting over a month for a KM84.....

I don't know what the current expected shipping times are, but it shouldn't be a month, even with the pandemic. That seems too long to me.

Ordered a Silver Bullet on Friday. I was torn between the Overstayer Modular Channel and this. In the end the SB won out, as - on paper - it does exactly what I'm looking for. The sound clips I've heard obviously helped as well.

Caved on Plugin Alliance's sale after ignoring it all month, DrumXchanger for $10 today. Also picked up IK's Clavitube instrument for SampleTank 4 last week for $15, I'm a sucker for keys that give you the pre-speaker sounds for re-amping. Double-caved, Plugin Alliance renewed the $20 off coupon and I immediately grabbed Gig Performer 3 Unlocked. I've been using an old MacBook/USB interface on my console aux sends for FX routing, perfect application for a low latency 'just the plug-ins' routing platform.

Bought my first Colour module from Stormy. A LTL Pulse delay.
Looking at getting the new Colour Duo from DIYRE when it comes out. Such a cool design. But hoping to use this delay for some cool effects.
Now if only I could find a 2nd one..

Now if only I could find a 2nd one.. Brad doesn't want to make them any more. The demand when they came out was not that huge, but IMO has grown since.... If I had one (2?) I'd put it to 15IPS slap delay time with a few repeats and leave it as is. Congrats on finding one. We should both start strong arming Mr. McGowan to make more!!! LOL [edit] - you should definitely check out / audition mrFocus for your color hosting. IMO by far and away the best color host option out there. I've got 12, and want more.....

I already did bug him about it hahaha He told me he was trying to get Petereson to sell it as a DIY kit! So I applied pressure to Peterson as well. He knows about it but has a lot of other projects on his plate for the moment but in the future I think we could see it again from DIYRE. I do think there is more momentum for it now as well. But not enough to make it a priority for Peterson or even an idea for Brad haha Im planning on trying the 15ips behind it and the soft clipper at first to get some warm grit from it to make it a nice slap back delay. Also cassette distortion one too and maybe the jfet. Down the rabbit hole of colour we go! the mr focus modules are on my radar. Especially as I continue down my path with my DIY console. I want to get a couple to do some tests with work flow integration so then I can have those and the ML2s for "faders" as it were. Either way, I do want some. Just haven't got there yet.

Picked up a bunch of drums and drum gear to add to the studio kit. Added a 24x24 kick, 16x20 and 18x24 floor toms and the dreaded 13x12 rack tom. Plus some stands, another snare, and odds and ends.

But, the only SB I've ever seen in the Norwegian classifieds, sold within 30 minutes of being posted. So I am not really that worried

Used some coupons and picked up the UAD Capitol Chambers and 175B/176 plugins before the sale ends tonight. For singer songwriter stuff both of these plugins are really great. I love the 175B on Vocals.
