A pair of Moog 500 series delays just landed in the studio... it was a moment of weakness... one that I’m not regretting They sound really sweet! Wow jealous! They are going for so much now I wonder if I'll ever get a pair.

They are going for so much now I wonder if I'll ever get a pair. the prices are definitely skyrocketing. But they go through phases. The ones for sale right now are way high. With patience these can be found between 900-1200 a piece. Still very expensive but I gotta say that my initial impressions are that in a mix, the width and elegance and presence of whatever they are affecting is pretty drastically improved and very different from any plugin. I regularly use echoboy and Valhalla delay plugins which are outstanding, but this is a whole different thing and a whole different level of sonic goodness

I succumbed to the Tonelux sale at Zen Pro and got the Equalux. I knew I would beat myself up if I didn't take advantage.

Just the demos I've heard are stellar. Someday maybe..

I've been looking for a pair of those for awhile. I've got the Ladder Filters, but want a pair of the delays as well. ENJOY!! (ps - I may have to end up settling for a pair of these : www.bereich03-audio.de/delay.html. The Moog's are soooo rare. PS - I'm sitting here just listening back to your Sax tracks. Over and Over. Sooooooo good. If I had a pair of the Moog delays, they would be ALL over your sax right now... haha!

I was fortunate to score them for a good price (still not cheap though). Tried them on Sax a couple days ago... beeeaauuutiful! So glad you’re diggin the sax tracks man! Had fun cutting them for ya.

I'm still just rolling with reamp/Memory Man, put an chop shop plug fore and aft the insert if needed...

A fun thing I like to do is run it like 60-75% wet to a Vermona spring verb for vocals (probably would sound good on your sax too).

I met Ward at Vanguard Audio Labs on Monday and we met Derek. A well organized operation. Well this is what I picked up today.

What's that going to cost to get up and running?

What's that going to cost to get up and running? Probably won't even happen. I'm miles from being a tech and these strips are loaded with surface mount stuff. Probably try to sell off a few strips and strip the rest for knobs and switches. I have 4 S800 PCBs that I picked up a while ago too.

Tonelux Equalux arrived yesterday, got it racked up this morning with a little re-arranging to put all the outboard EQ together. Have to run some wire now to get it tied into the bay for tomorrow's session...

Strymon Iridium and a Teisco Boost pedal to go with it. I sold my tube amp. Thanks to Dr. Bill and Deegan at Louder then Liftoff on suggestion on how to cable it into my Audient ID44 interface - and my Silver Bullet tone amp. First impressions, after plugging the cables in - it will work out nicely - seems I'm able to hear my guitar better in the mix than I could before with the 'real' amp in the room. (I have some fairly intense tinnitus)

Picked up a B1 Cap for my BLUE Bottle Rocket Stage II. I’ve been sorely missing an SDC of some kind in my mic locker and this should work nicely until I can put some money together for a better one. I did some really bad mandolin playing into it and I’m excited to record some guitar or a better mandolin player with it.
