...SNIP... and I really need to stop spending money. Oh we've all felt that way. Don't worry, it will pass Before or after I take up residence in The Poor House? I'll be living here with great gear.

Like my car, that humble abode's "ambience" provides extra security, when valuable items are left inside. Especially when you throw the yellow caution tape and the "DANGER/STUCTURALLY UNSAFE DWELLING" sign around it-before you leave! Chris

Chris Indeed that ambient security system is remarkable, unfortunately it lacks security from the elements. But hey nobody’s going to steal your rain soaked, wind damaged Neve😁

Redco spdif cables came yesterday so I got my Svartbox integrated today with my MH gear and picked up another Weight Tank compressor v1 off Reverb for a great price. So good on violin had to have 2 since it's also so good on bass. Tracked some organ today, everything is rocking!

Completed my "Wolf Box" Motown DI today, this was a 2-day project due to the difficulty of drilling through the steel enclosure. I used an old Triad A55J which is not the "official" transformer so I didn't know if it was going to turn out how it should but it did! Saved myself about $400 also. With the P bass "that sound" is there.

After reading an old thread where Klaus had some good things to say about the Beesneez K7 Capsule along with other users, I almost bought this once before awhile back. But I was reminded again recently after reading mcirish's comments here on RGO where he put one of these Capsules in his Miktek CV4, and now likes and uses the mic as much as his Wunder Cm7. My thanks to mcirish for install tips on this into my own CV4 and I have to agree with him that it improved the mic quality so much that the CV4 went from a mic I was going to sell, to the most used mic in my studio.

The Kush Clariphonic MS showed up yesterday. I had to move some stuff around to rack it where I can reach it. I've no idea why it was a b-stock. There are no noticeable issues. Maybe it was a return they had to replace something on... I don't know. I'm happy to get it for $700 off full price though. I'll play around with it tonight or tomorrow.

Sweet rack!!! Where's the Stam stuff? The integrity and honesty bars I expect companies to meet are too high to rack any of his gear. And I should probably point out that dbx preamp is something I bought to test the 500 rack. I recently purchased that Bender assembled it for me. I ordered a psu from CAPI and I bought those used Neve 542s. The whole thing died on me after a few hours and I wasn't sure where the breakdown happened. I was worried those Neve units might have issues because they were the only non-new things. Turns out it was a bad psu. CAPI replaced it and I've been fine ever since. At some point in that process I bought that preamp for around $100 to test the rack. I wanted something cheap in there just in case there was a bigger issue. I didn't want to fry the Neves if there was.

I love my Hammer v1, the "v2" definitely addressed the issues I have with it sometimes, but there's always a work around! Since I picked up a Michelangelo for the 2 buss last summer, the Hammer's been sitting on OH's and I must say I like it there quite a bit. It's also great n my 'seat of the pants' mastering chain.

I considered the Hammer II for quite awhile. Ended up with the Miad 4040's instead, but maybe a Hammer in the future.....

Just ordered a b-stock Kush Clariphonic MS off their website. $1300 instead of $2000 was too good to pass up. It's a pretty swanky piece of gear and I really need to stop spending money. Pretty sweet deal.

Here is the latest gear that I've re-acquired. Thanks to a fine gentleman in Nashville who rescued these prized possessions for me, properly serviced them and returned them to me. I am very grateful. Attachments:

Just got a Universal Audio 4110 off Reverb.
Initial tests show it to be great on drums and bass DI. The shape function really does make a big difference. Its great to have clean and vibe at the flick of a switch.
The unit also looks killer in the rack.
