Ordered two Sennheiser e906s yesterday, just shipped from Banjo Center today. Brings my total from the Sennheiser Evolution anniversary $99 sale to: (3) e904s, (2) e906s, (1) e902.
Ordered the Black Friday K-T KT-2A from Zen Pro for $340 and it shipped on Thursday.
Pulled the trigger on the Thomann K-T/Midas cyber Monday price cuts, a Midas L10 10-space 500 rack for 167 euros and a back-ordered K-T 76-KT for 167 euros. Whole order came to $414 shipped.
Still waiting on (2) Stam 1073EQs as well. I didn't plan on a big cyber shopping week and now I've never had this much gear pending delivery before....

I rescued a 1976 Guild G-41 acoustic from my old band mates attic. I tried to pay him for it, he refused but generously insisted I take it and give it a good home, so I sent him an airline ticket to see his family. Win for us both. Big body and sound and I love adding this acoustic sound flavor to go along with my Taylors.

Man , I love old guilds !! Some of the older ones are quite fine instruments, and rival any other maker's offerings!

Arguably, Guild made the best sounding 12-string of all time too! Those big old 12 string Guilds just had balls. The thing with old Guilds, more so than Martins and Gibbons is they stay in the family rather than end up on the market. You say old Guild and I think Hank Hill ( King of the hill best reality show ever, if you spent any time in Texas you know what I mean).

For the 42, if you’re going from something like 60bpm to 240, hold down the up button and then push in the down button at the same time. It will super speed you up instead of tapping on the damn thing forever. That blew my mind as an assistant the first time an engineer showed me that haha!

I'm stoked to have one. Love these things. Need another one someday...there's one on reverb I'm tempted to try and get but I've spent way too much this last couple weeks. Need to hold off a bit for now haha

Well I finally got the Harrison MR3 in place in the new recording area. All rebuilt, modules installed. Set up some self powered coaxial speakers on stands to test out the room. C.D. digital out > Swart Box > Powered Monitors. Not to impressed with the imaging, sound field, etc. Went and placed 20 Tube Traps around the room. Whoa, unbelievable sound field. This is a listening environment where you can move around and the sound doesn't change. I've heard Tube Traps at shows and read about them but finally obtaining 50 of them I'm able to test out them out in different configurations.

Excited and nervous as I have just ordered a late 60’s early 70’s U87. It comes from a reputable seller who claims it’s as good as any example he’s ever heard, and the price was reasonable next to some other examples I’ve seen. It’s a very big purchase for me, and one not made without lots of thought. I’ve been trying to find a proper clone for a long time, but that small difference that the real thing adds, was just something I decided I wanted, and was worth the extra cost. Anyway, I can’t wait to get it and start recording!

How many of those do you have, and did you know that sharing is caring?

How many of those do you have, and did you know that sharing is caring? Only one, and I'm only aware of one other one out there. It's a three stage single ended amp with a pair of 77's and a 41 output, which is the earlier generation of 6J7 and 6K6.
