That's an excellent question. I do have plans for a U.S. only Silver Bullet demo program. I want to use a unit from the in-process production run. As soon as those are ready to ship then I'll make the SB demo program live. Expect that to occur by the end of January. Things are going to work a little differently than the way I've been doing it with the Chop Shop just due to the value of the unit. My current thought is to have it work as follows: - You pay for one-way shipping by placing an "order" for the Silver Bullet demo on the LTL online store.
- We add you to the Gear With Friends queue.
- When it's your turn, we send you a Silver Bullet to demo in your studio for two weeks.
- You can choose to purchase a unit or send it back using the included return shipping label.
- You share a pic of the unit in your studio to your FB page or Instagram.
Let me know what you guys think. I will likely require folks to provide a credit card number over the phone before I send out the unit. I need to think about how I want to handle this. ChaseUTB - Sorry things got a little derailed here. Hopefully we'll be back on track for another 6 months or so. thanks, Brad Picture Wiz, as a two year old toddler.. throwing extreme wobbly on floor of studio!!! waaaa waaaa waaa ... its only USA!!! 8) cheers Wiz I can picture it , but I see your wife having a laughing fit in the background! Send her my love!

BradM I was getting frustrated because people were taking advantage of you and not returning your unit in a timely fashion. Then when you got your baby back I felt really relieved because I believe members here at RGO have morals and respect. Respect to you for changing up the demo game. I would love to audition your Silver bullet ( either version ) alas no Credit card here so I will have to watch/ liste from the sidelines

I don't think anyone was really taking advantage of me. I think people just get caught up living their lives and making music. As long as the demo Chop Shop is being put to good use then I'm happy. No credit card? How does one survive in the year 2016 without a credit card? I highly recommend Credit Karma, by the way, as a way to monitor your credit and build credit. If you have a Visa debit card that would work, too. Just something that allows you to pay for shipping that I can charge in the even the unit goes missing. Brad

No credit card? How does one survive in the year 2016 without a credit card? It's called surviving debt free hehehe Debt is one of the worst forms of imprisonment. This is totally off topic, but I'm going to share anyway. One can still live debt free by using credit cards responsibly. I just treat my credit cards like debit cards and have the full balance set for autopay every month. I never carry a balance. Credit card companies actually pay you to use the darn things. I've been racking up ridiculous amounts of bonus points/miles and traveling for basically free this year just by earning the sign-up bonuses. No debt incurred. Some fun stuff to check out that I highly recommend. Free money: www.travelmiles101.comwww.travelisfree.comEnjoy! Brad

Brad If you are disciplined, which I am my wife are, credit cards and frequent flyer miles are fabulous.... we put EVERYTHING on our credit card we can, and accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer Miles. We immediately pay the credit card off. We never NEVER carry a balance. We must have had 100 free flights over the last 20 years. Groceries, Petrol, Gear all our utilities...its given us great holidays. Mind you , if you are not disciplined... it could get out of hand quickly cheers Wiz

BradM I have had a rough past year and I didnt have good credit before that. It got ruined a little bit by me and mostly by helping family members out by cosigning and putting bills in my name. As thanks to me for helping, they run the bills up and default on them monthly. The service providers know they are not being paid and past due charges are accumulating, and they continue to keep the services on, and somehow don't know how to contact me ( they just send bills/ warnings to the addresses ) $3-5,000 dollars later, then they want to shut off the service. This has happened with Electricity, cable, rent, and even water. You would be surprised how service providers are willing continue to provide the service, after a sob story phone calls to the manager. Hopefully the ppl demoing the silver bullet will post nice audio or video comparisons so I can join in on the fun

ChaseUTB - That does indeed sound rough. I'm really sorry you had to go through all that. Here's to a much brighter 2017. I'm hoping folks will make some videos, too. That would be great. Crap, I totally spaced on sending out the Chop Shop yesterday. Sorry guys. Monday. Brad

I'm working on rolling out my Silver Bullet demo program. I need three volunteers to give me some feedback on what I'm working on. Who wants to help?
thanks, Brad

I have a pair of open inputs and outputs on my Apollo... maybe I should look at this considering it's a preamp and mix tool..(which is what I need ) I seek multiple duty units in HW. Units that can be used for tracking mixing and / or mastering... Are there preamp sends or separate mic and line outputs silver bullets??? 😀

I am even more intrigued 🤗 I am now going to go read the product thread and manual to learn more about the build / circuits / & components!

Ok, I've decided I MUST try a Chop Shop. How long is the current wait for a demo unit? I think this could be the missing ingredient in my sound.

That's an excellent question. I believe toolboxmuziq still has it. He'd be happy to send it on to you at this point I'm guessing. It might be more expedient to order a Chop Shop, try it out, and just return it within 14 days if you don't like it. Time it with your credit card billing cycle and you'll have no financial impact. I have both silverface and Void Corp units in stock. Brad

Still have not used mine on drums or bass, but they are very good on synth, guitar, and vox. I was even using it as pre-eq for parallel compression.

I think, given this amazing opportunity though, I'll wait to try it out, assuming it happens before my ferret-like attention span doesn't have me buying a different 500 series EQ first (the Electra sounds very tempting, too...). This way, if I try the Chop Shop before I buy, like you posted about, I'll qualify for the $20 discount!

Can you sign me up for all of your demo programs, BradM ? The chop shop list is great, but you are pumping out some great things to try.

Although the Silver Bullet demo program is something you just have to do through the website whenever you are ready. It's up and running by the way. So who has the Chop Shop currently? We need to get this thing rolling to the next guy. thanks, Brad
