...I've been following these threads, and I'd like to put in a good word for Joshua if I may...I happen to know for a fact that in terms of his microphone offerings, he's already done his homework in the field and made contacts both in China for custom metalwork, as well as with Dany Bouchard for his PCB production and Eric Heiserman for capsule production...he's done far too much legwork and pre-production planning with reputable component sources to be spinning his wheels in any sort of scam-styled manner...
...I believe he's totally legit, but as any of the small independent manufacturers know all too well, their reputation and potential for success lies in the hands of their critical component suppliers, and sh*t happens...so I'd suggest cutting the guy some slack, and giving him the benefit of the doubt until there's legit reason to believe otherwise...for now, let's assume it's "Stam", and not "scam"...
...I lived in Chile, where I maintained a music production, product distribution and promotion company, and the music studio/gear scene there is very serious, so I'm not surprised that someone like Joshua hails from that studio community...some very talented and well schooled gearheads in that part of the world (very Euro-influenced culture)...I wish him well and look forward to possibly trying out some of his product...

Stam, do you have any sound files? Maybe one comparing an original to your version? We love that here.
I remember a long time back, there was a group of sound files somewhere with every major brand of 1176 clones, including the UAD models and the original UREI models. There were around 10-15 brands. All files were done with the same source and level matched. Of all of the available models, I found the Warm Audio WA76 sounded the best. Only the two original UREI's were better. I now have a WA76!

I contacted the administration several times offering invoices, orders and direct contact with reputable manufacturers in the US who work with other companies here to proof that I was legit and buying in bulks from them... I never heard back, not a single line. If they were really that concerned about their fellow forum members being ripped off they would have taken action or perhaps given me an answer of some sort. They didin't, they just were happy to post everytime "Buyer beware" , which is fine, but not really what helps the situation for any of both parties, so after a while of the same thing over and over again I just decided to not care anymore. My clients write to me via email, the SA-2A is sold out so I don't really care on what people think about me on that thread, I have nothing to gain from it, the only thing I care about is delivering quality products to people that have trusted me with building their gear with their hard earned cash. You can ask Keith Morrison who has #1 Billboard tracks in the US and has recently bought his second LA-2A from me, or Javier Bassino (Izzy Rock from GS), or Faith No More's Bassists who I am meeting here in September to deliver a 1073 preamp... etc... or just ask Ward in a few weeks when he gets his unit. Cheers. Whoa - that's really stretching the truth - the only email I've EVER received from you was last night at 9:38 CST offering to send invoices from drip and cinemag - that's all. So, if you guys want to learn more about his products, I would point you towards his website or Gearslutz. Good luck with your product. I'm tired of it too, so I'm closing this thread.

So - Joshua just pointed out a PM that he sent me on March 13th concerning forwarding receipts from Cinemag, Drip, etc. So I was wrong - apparently he did contact me with that. I apologize for over-looking that. Again, if you're interested in getting one of these, I would suggest contacting him directly or checking out the ongoing thread at Gearslutz.
