Ha, 858. Seems like that 850-860 range is the norm and Tonebone is a master. Haha.

Hit 859 the third or fourth time - thought I was getting good and played about 10 more times. Most in the high 700's. This could be a drinking game ya know.

I know it's a fun challenge, but I should also add that I hate this test! I have to think like a robot to get over 800, great musicians ebb and flow/push and pull the time, clicks are for practice, not music, this test reinforces the horrible "bury the click" paradigm that's been on the leading edge of boring down and dehumanizing music imo

You are right, musicians push and pull the beat, but you can't break the rules unless you know how to play by them. Steady beat and the goal of playing dead nuts accurate is a skill that has a history going back long before the modern age of technology. Better time makes for a better musician. The test should reinforce the 'clicks' are for practice paradigm. I don't think any of us here are deluded into thinking it's 'musical.'
Beat responsibly.

Well..., maybe not here, but unfortunately the "bury the click" cliché, became a cliché for a reason.i totally agree that solid timekeeping is the diff between the men and the boys... Most times literally 8)
