Ok, after this last album I just finished, I realized I only liked using 1 eq plug (V 4).(As far as speed goes, getting to what I want it to sound like quickly)
I upgraded my system to a 64 bit machine and my old trusty plugs are not compatible.
Still on PT9. Have Waves Ren eq, V3 and V4.
Was looking at a few of the PSP options. Relatively cheap.
May not matter to much, since I may shift to mixing in Mixbuss.

You mean like SSL style Freq/Queue/Gain? I haven't bought it, because I feel like I already have a ton of EQ's, but the Harrison 32C UAD plug is awesome. How about the Slate VMR? Isn't it cheap and good? Waves Helios Channel...I wonder how good that AOM EQ is? The Limiter is fantastic.

Loving the Slate eq's...for an all rounder toolbox digital eq MDynamicEQ is nice. Ugly but nice. Actually there's good looking skin I bought for it because the original gui is nasty!

Thanks for the suggestions. The t-racks prices are nice. I just checked in with URS and looks like they are finally porting to 64bit. It may take another 4 years to do so though! Johnkenn, John, I am looking for a semi parametric, 4 band, with filters. Looking at the new crop of 500 series Eq's got me thinking about it.

Metric Halo Channelstrip 3 might be worth considering, 6 band eq (fully parametric) , gate, compressor(s) and limiter

T-Racks Brittish! Hangs with UAD IMHO Any other thoughts on the rest of the t-racks line? Looks like they just came out with a Api proportional Q 4 band.

I really like the T-Racks British and API EQ's. Also their 1176 and LA2A are good, even though the gain staging is wonky. They often have great sales.

All of those new Custom Shop plugins are great. The 432 eq, the one after the Sontec blows my mind. When the group buy was going on I picked up that one first at $129, then I got the 33609, Brittish Eq, multi-band comp and one other that were free. They are all UAD/Softube/Brainworx etc. quality and just as good as those. The Sontec emu to me though is the money, the M/S ability will make your life easier and it's very sweet on the top end.

I actually use the IK stuff, when I do the plug in thing.
I really like the API PG which is the 560 graphic, its really really great. .... so great, if API weren't such huge douchebags I would buy a hardware version
Also, the Tape Delay is a huge favourite
cheers
