I don't like it either, but I wouldn't blame Jordan. The mixer decided to make it annoyingly dry, punchy and upfront.

Pfff, the snare isn't the only problem with this. How bad does that ride sound? How about the wash on the cymbals? I don't like how the guitar licks are so similar to Can't Ya Hear Me Knockin' either. I guess that's to be expected a bit, but it just feels like a poorly done rehash to me.

I just think this is the wrong drummer for Keith's sound, even though they've been playing together for decades. I too think the guitar parts could have been a little bit more thoughtful, and less common. As a music teacher, I often dissected some of Keith's parts for students, and they're more often than not, surprisingly complex with pin point accurate timing. So, he can do it when he wants to.
