Keith Richards' snare sound on "Trouble" from Cross Eyed Heart

Reminds me of all those clangy 90s snares. 'The Commitments' immediately came to mind.

I just think this is the wrong drummer for Keith's sound, even though they've been playing together for decades. I too think the guitar parts could have been a little bit more thoughtful, and less common. As a music teacher, I often dissected some of Keith's parts for students, and they're more often than not, surprisingly complex with pin point accurate timing. So, he can do it when he wants to.
