$600 for the pair. This is a blowout from a major outlet that I know about. There are 5 pairs available. If you want a pair, post here and I can put you in touch with the dude. Apparently, they went for $1550 new. www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/LSR4328P

I got mine from GC website years ago for 400 used. Clearly they meant to price them per each, but mistakenly listed it as a pair. I bought it expecting to have the order cancelled or have one speaker show up.. But two arrived and the other mistaken listings on the site were taken down before I could buy another pair to resell...

I just scored a new pair of these from sweetwaters early bird black Friday deal. I'm very excited to upgrade from the 305s. I don't fully understand the room correction stuff. Can anyone share some insight on how this works and how valuable of a tool it is? I'm in a medium-sized room with some DIY treatment. Guess I should read the manual but I prefer to talk with you all

Guess I should read the manual but I prefer to talk with you all You have to have the "correction pack" or whatever it's called. It's a mic, remote and some cables. Essentially you hook up the mic and run the correction function. it really only works on the low end, from 200hz down. Honestly I waffle between believing it's working, or thinking it's not working. Most of the time I leave it off and I think my mixes translate better this way.

I learned to mix on these and the " correction pack mic was malfunctioning so we used Earthworks TC 20 to perform the measurements. At the time, we tested against the ARC 2 room correction and again it was minimal to modest improvements over what the speakers perform set flat on proper stands. The measurements have to be very precise from memory, and you breathing can affect the measurement reading 😂
The jbl correction and ARC can do weird things like boosting 10db at 450 hz if the measurement mic is not meticulously placed. The earthworks is flat and produced better results. Even watching YT vids of people setting up ARC, you can see these weird measurements happen. I think these JBL monitors accentuate 40 - 100 Hz a bit ( 50hz +/- 1.5 db ) so if I were mixing on these currently, I would low shelf 100hz -3db, so my low end will translate elsewhere and not be too light...
Does anyone use their digital inputs ? I'm prettier we where running them analog from the Icon xmon?

I actually enjoy the 305s but I heard the 308 at a friends house and they seemed much more effortless, not just louder. The 305 make me lean forward to pick out the detail so I've been looking to upgrade for awhile. I know they are cheap but worked better for me than the Yamaha I had previously. Hopefully I will find the 4328 'better' with or without the room correction. The price was too good to resist and I am not quite ready to take the Amphion etc.. leap.

I like the LSR4328P better than pretty much everything around, including Amphion. They are easier to work on, and they translate extremely well once you learn them. I also have the sub, and it's just great with the speakers. No more guesswork.

How do these sound compared to Genelecs 1031A's. Are they on that level?

What a deal! I'm moving ahead with LSR305 here for the time being, along with a few other secondary listening monitors.
