Roxul is safer than fiberglass.... at least that's what I was told. Whether it is rigid board or the semi rigid it's still going to dust... 703, all of them dust, I have no idea why it wouldn't be safe in something that is recommended for fiberglass.

I'm a contractor for a living, i've done 100's of insulating jobs, forget the electric knife, this is the ONLY way to cut any sizable job www.soundaway.com/insulknife_p/21002.htm , it works so well it's ridiculous, trust me on this, any other cutting device is a waste of time and money. This will cut through any insulation from fiberglass, ultratouch(the hardest to deal with) and rockwool, panels or batts. It is USELESS without the sharpener, i will swipe sharpen the blade after every couple cuts, it takes seconds and keeps you flying. When I made my 22 panels, I used Tontine Acoustisorb 3. I cut it with an Angle grinder.... Worst weekend in memory... 8) Man did that suck. Worked out great and the whole 22 panels cost me about 1/15th of what the commercial solution would have been Hey Wiz, What Adam monitors are those? I have a similar pair, But they don't have the Blue led's. Are those A7's? Thanks

Would be interesting cheers Wiz Thanks Wiz, I like the blue led's. I haven't heard the A7's. I have the 7x's and they almost look identical except for the one port, in which the 7X's have 2 port holes and a green led. I guess I am too picky wanting blue instead of green led's. Lol. John, did you cut your traps from a block of asbestos? I hear it brings out more rasp in the voice.

I have asbestos traps. Is that safe? I've heard that soaking them in DDT makes them easier to cut.
