Hi Eric,
Of course I am making a profit, why would I bother with all this work if there is nothing to gain ? Could I charge much more ? yes, but I wanted to spread the word about my brand and I am not interested in getting rich by doing this, as long as I can pay the bills and bring food to the table I am happy. What I meant is I have not made any money on the SA-2A yet as clients have only payed for 30% or 40% of the unit upfront which does not cover all parts. Once they are delivered and I get the remanining balance then yes, I get a profit.
Reputation is earned based on the quality of your products, I am very meticulous with my testing, just for my 312's I tried over 15 transformers and many configurations, I even placed different output transformers on units to see if clients would say "channel 2 sounds better than channel 1", which happened and helped to achieve the best posible sounding unit with modern parts that I could. Same with the SA-2A, 1073, and all other units, I spent years testing each transformer, DOA, capacitor, etc.., hopefully in time this will pay off and translate into more trust.
Thanks for your advice Eric, but I have not done anything wrong here, clients have the option to wait for it or cancel and get a refund, it's up to them.
All the best.

I don't think I will be visiting this forum or posting again so if you want to contact me or are concerned about your product, email me or call, I'm always available Thanks Joshua PD: Problem with the website has been fixed. So let me get this straight. You come on my forum to advertise your product (without paying me anything) and now you've gotten your feelings hurt because people are trying to get clarity on a product that they've pre-paid for? This thread is about to get deleted.

Give the man a little slack here and let's see where this goes!!! Please keep the thread, Ranger Bob!!

I did not come to your forum to advertise my product, I did not even know this forum existed. A thread was started here which led me to get involved in order to clarify a few things.
I also never stated I got my feelings hurt, don't make asumptions. I insisted that clients call me or ask me to call them via email if they have questions because I don't have much time these days.
Please feel free to delete this thread, it's your forum after all.
Cheers

Two of the three manufacturers you named are established designers with stellar reputations. That's why we don't question them. Feel free to review the piece when you get it. Since Stam won't be posting, and you can now correspond through his site, maybe it's time to lock the thread.

Bored and curious I just read the original 5 page thread on the sa 2a on gs. Correct me if I'm wrong but the only buyer review is another person from Chile. All could be cool but personally I'd wait till other USA revieqs are in. Maybe Stam can lead to other reviews.

yeah, unfortunately i can't unread what i already read, the whole "i must be a scam" comment denotes serious inexperience as a business man, that rivals your inexperience as an audio electronics builder/retailer. The reality that you've already had one of OUR trusted members have a direct complaint about you NOT delivering and disappearing on him, was the first red flag, now you have 100's of PREPAID orders that people are waiting for you to make good on, your website been temporarily down in direct conjunction with a new PREPAY build offer on a 1073, and that threw up some new red flags(have we seen any build pics yet?), and now the attitude of "how dare you question me!?", really? the comment makes you look like a loose gun. I wouldn't buy a thing from you.
BTW, in case you are unaware, a BUNCH of us here and at GDIY know exactly who you are, and understand the rather small amount of experience you possess as an "electronics expert", so if i were you I'd tread very lightly, and rise above the fray before word gets out on some of the extreme Noob style behaviour you've displayed in the not so distant past.
I believe everyone here would like to see everyone get what they're paying for and you to do just great.
DID YOU TAKE CARE OF BLUENOISE YET?

[quote author=" stam" source="/post/63809/thread" timestamp="1435073770" I have booked a photoshoot for Thursday for the SA-2A and other gear I've made (1073, 312, U/87, etc...), I'll upload them when I can, priority is to send those pics out to clients who ordered Cheers.[/quote] How did this shoot go? Any hi res interior pics yet? All I've seen was about half of a demo unit.
