John I have the 85, Its nice on acoustic for parts that you only really need the percussive quality of the guitar its actually my first choice there. The 84 is a great mic and very versatile. I personally love the km54/254 on acoustic. As far as buying from people online. I deal with a dealer named Michawk. I found him through ebay but he is a great resource and he has even go so far as to hunt down mics for me and always makes sure Im happy with my mics and if im not he sends them out to dudes like Klaus and Stephen Sank for work.
