No you got the dilemma: they are 2x4 and I used the lightest bracket i could find so they are not locked down just held in place
They start about 6-8 inches below cieling so again i 'll experiment i have a pretty dead end with a cloud so that's where I typically record live
And there is UA's new Wood plug for piezo pickups which sounds surprisingly really good and usable !
