Well I stumbled upon these on Facebook. A Pultec style Midrange EQ (MID500) and a stereo 1176 (77x-500) Not that much info, it seems that now it comes with their "Vintage OPA", would like to know if there's a chance to place other opamps without pulling out the soldering iron. It seems pretty good, haven't played with any Lindell product, but this looks promising. With so many offerings appearing almost every week, there's no way my wallet will enjoy next year.

Seem cool. AFAIK, the older models don't have swappable op amps. Could be wrong though.

The quality has certainly been suspect on previous iterations.

Don't forget he's a moderator over at the purple site. I have seen a few negative threads pop up over there only to be scrubbed clean or simply removed.

I was not aware of the nonsense regarding Lindell, and the search I did after reading your comment proved to be very enlightening.

Welcome, t3! We're all here because of the shenanigans over there. Sort of the Protestant Reformation of Pro Audio Message Boards

Welcome, t3! We're all here because of the shenanigans over there. Sort of the Protestant Reformation of Pro Audio Message Boards At this point, I know. However, for the longest time I couldn't figure out why you had been banned from the purple palace. Your posts were helpful, and I never saw anything from you that could be construed as threatening. I found your explanation here, and learned what the purple palace considers to be "threatening". Other posts here have cleared up why threads over there would seem to contain two or three trains of thought with no segue between them, after sections had been discretely "disappeared." The stunning amount of banned members there now makes sense, as well. Well, not "makes sense", exactly, but at least now I know why it happens so frequently. So sad when people sell out and ruin a good thing. I hope you've learned well from their mistakes. BTW, if you could work some more options into the avatar editor, that would be great. After I registered my moniker, I realized it was the title of a Terminator movie, so I tried to make my avatar look like Ahnold. Sadly, this was I close as I could get with the available options.

Arnold isn't exactly the most popular guy here in California, if you know what I mean.

Arnold isn't exactly the most popular guy here in California, if you know what I mean. Well, the RINO version of socialism-lite isn't really better than the Dem's nearly full-blown version, so it's understandable. But I hear some of the housekeeping staff just loves him.

Nah, too obvious. I'll keep it in mind, though, should I feel the need to give the evil eye.

Looks like $600 for the mid eq and $775 for the comp. Fair prices, but not game changing prices.

Reviving a slightly older thread... I saw this back when I was just lurking and want to share my experience. I own a pair of Lindell 6x pres and the six slot 500 series lunchbox. The pres sound good. I don't have any API or CAPIs for direct comparison, but they give me the mid-forward, punchy sound on electric guitars that I was looking for. The EQ boost on hi and low comes in handy as well. The DOAs are swappable, btw. One of the 6x arrived from ZenPro down about ten dB, gain wise. Warren was very helpful. Tobias Lindell contacted me directly via email and put me in touch with Tony from Rad distribution, who immediately arranged for a fix. All in all, it was a very satisfactory experience; very different from some of the sentiments expressed in the thread. I have been wanting to share this for a while; sorry it took me a month to get around to it!

It surprises me that Lindell has said almost nothing about his Paul Wolf designed module .

Sounds cool. What did Mr. Wolf design for Lindell?
