Ha I've got a pic which I do not have permission to share. But Bryce said ok to let you know his answer was yes to JK's question. So, we should really let this go and I shouldn't bring up the groovy colour at all: that would be cruel !

OK, I've got UAD's Pultec plugs. I can use them to print, same way I can run through hardware and print. The UAD Pultec sounds really good. I've found it's a must have on drum tracks.
I also have UAD's 1176 plugs, and they sound good, but i've never quite taken to them, maybe the revision they modeled was too gritty for my taste. I have Warm Audio's WA76, and use it to track everything. A pinch on acoustic guitars, and vocals helps my tracks sit better.
Shpould I expect the same thing from having a hardware Pultec? The thing is, I don't track live drums, so I won't need the hardware Pultec for my demos. Would the Pultec EQ somehow help my vocal and guitar tracking?
I've heard how nicely the EQ on the Heritage Audio 1073 can help vocal tracks, , and I believe that if I track with the right EQ, I won't need any, or very little in mixdown, and will have less smearing from phase issues, correct?
Just trying to get some perspective here, so any advice is appreciated.

Well couple of things I'm betting on:
-its tube based with good tube's so the natural euphonics from that -David Gerer, CineMag owner was directly involved in tranny dev't
Which bryce told us earlier led to:
" the unit is flat from 20hz all the way to 50khz... killer response. Running a mix through them feels like I'm adding a vinyl record affect... but not a muddy oober colored, just a nice gloss over the top."
Finally, they will have the overlapping bands so great for mixing and with the euphonics and flatness , I'm planning on using them for mastering as well.

So, they'll shine on mixdown, but you'll need two?

So, they'll shine on mixdown, but you'll need two? Unless your mixes are mono.

Need 2 for mixdown: bingo, definitely ! Seriously guys, I have never met Bryce just got to know him through the internet and my incessant questions about Warm products ! I don't know how large the first run is but given Bryce's and Warm's and Cinemag's very good reps, I'm thinkin these eq's are going to be killer and unlike the previous releases, it more probable that people will buy pairs , so plan accordingly. I wasn't kidding when I said I was saving my money. Of course, one can be used for tracking, just fine and you'll have that tone in the tracks and you could level match in mono and then record stereo one side at a time but at best that's a work around .
