littlesicily Johnkennhow close were the drip and the retro in compression action and output level? cheers Wiz Compression action on my drip… there's a 6 position knob that has both the "single" and "double" settings as on the original gates, and 4 more faster settings. The Retro has a combination of single/double/triple and then diff recovery settings. So… not apples to apple suppose. Output level… not sure but this Drip is HOT. Normal use I have the input at 9 o'clk and output at 12 o'clock and it's rocking. Can be used as a mic pre with one tube tied behind it's back  |

Mine ends up set at 1ppm and 9 am (in and out) respectively and most of the time I am using SINGLE release on vocals, sometimes DOUBLE on acoustic thanks again cheers Wiz |
