Hairball releases FET 500 compressors

Rev A is finally done and calibrated! Mike was incredibly helpful. He figured out how to jump that missing relay so i could have it working while the relay gets here. That kind of service alone is worth it!!
Back to the sound of it, it is REALLY 1176. It does what is expected. And amazingly so. I've tried its usual tricks (10 & 2 vocals, mono room smash, snare comp) and so far i'm digging it. 2:1 ratio is a great feature and i can imagine going there quite often. It has a noticeable sonic imprint, that's for sure. But in a familiar way if it makes any sense...
There's only one little thing I didnt like much: a few pots have a different feel to them.
In short, great product and a superb service.
