Good lord I've been biting my nails for the last month just waiting, waiting for little taste of 5 months of pure visual nirvana. Tailgating with all my buddies, hearing the deafening roar of 86,000 fans as my man, Jameis Winston guns for another Heisman and National Championship. Go Noles! And welcome College Football!

I used to be a Boston College fan, back in the Flutie days for the most part.

Nearly the whole team had the flu, they never announced it, but my friend works in the sports information department at FSU and he texted me they had all the players on IV's since 10am this morning and were giving them vitamins along with electrolytes through the IV's too. Also, like 4 of our best defensive players were out for the game, and Coach held out a lot of our playmakers too. Probably because they were sick, but might have been doing it so he didn't show other teams too much before we really get in the season. Never-the-less, Jameis pulled off some amazing and greatness plays that always leave me in awe….. and then he had his usual pick or two. Today was amazing though. I called everyone I'm working on a project for and told them I'm on vacation until Tuesday, so allllll day I watched almost every game, it was amazing. Nothing like a full day of college football with my family. Cooking southern food, I drank some Apple Pie Moonshine pretty much throughout the day and didn't even step out the front door. It was a great day!

I'll be at the Michigan game on Sat with 110,000 of my closest friends. Cheers, Geoff I lied. Was more like 107,00 of my closest friends. Not a sellout, in other words. But the rain held off, Michigan looked pretty dominant (although the true test will be next week vs. Notre Dame). Had a bunch of beer, too many calories, and bought a nice bottle of tequila to bring back. A good time. Cheers, Geoff

Gameday is always so much fun when they are at your school. Johnkenn you should travel and make that game if you can. Anytime Gameday is in Tally I go, they have tons of activities for the kids and giveaways. It's an amazing experience. I'm pretty sure they'll be at our game vs. ND, so I'm saving my pennies to make sure we are there.

I'm pulling for them this weekend….. I want the the rebels to beat Bama by 7 and LSU to curb stomp Auburn, because I hate freaking Auburn and I'm praying Arizona will beat the piss out of Oregon again…. that team is always overrated. As far as the Noles go, they have to show me more aggression on defense but, strictly non-bias, the won the NC last year, return the whole team and have the Heisman winner behind center again so they deserve #1 until they lose. Great teams find ways to win no matter what. We beat AU by 3 points in the NC, but 1993, 1999, and 2013 National Champions is posted all over my shirts and house so points don't matter, only wins. Go Rebels! Siked about seeing Gameday at Ole Miss too, that's freaking awesome, the Grove will give them a good background. I've been watching ESPN all day to see if they do a shot of the setup, probably will be tomorrow. I know if I were you Johnkenn I would be there, that's going to be major fun man. They'll have all the busses there, all the ESPN radio guys do their show on campus, all kinds of cool stuff for the kids, it's just a blast. I love going to Gameday when they are in Tally. I think they'll be there for when we play Notre Dame, could be a top 5 matchup as long as both teams keep winning, tickets will be over $200 but it's worth it. I know for sure Corso will pick the Rebels!

It's amazing, any team that has any success is being attacked by an agenda. FSU, UGA, UF and now Ole Miss with the Nkemdiche pic thing, just amazing to me how college sports has become a cash cow for TMZ types. Anyone that wants to destroy a team can do so with twitter and a picture. Doesn't even make it fun anymore.
